With Easter right around the corner, we have been making an Easter card at each Tuesday class.

I used the DAFFODIL DAYDREAMS BUNDLE along with the AMAZING THANKS DIES for the front of my book-binding style card.

The pretty doily is the backside of one of the HEART & HOME DOILIES. They come in 3 colors...Misty Moonlight, Cinnamon Cider and Basic Gray, but the backside is always white! So pretty!

The designer paper I used here is from the free pack of Sunshine and Rainbows designer pack that was available January-February during Sale a bration.

Inside I used a retired stamp set. I loved the idea of the front saying "Amazing" and inside to say "grace" - it is true amazing grace that saves. So thankful to serve a God who saves!

Happy Easter Everyone!

Sunday, April 20, 2014
He is Risen! He is Risen indeed!!  Hope you all are having a Blessed Easter, celebrating our RISEN Lord!!

This will be my final Easter card to post - I hope you have been inspired to make some of your own.

Once again I used the EASTER BLESSINGS (retired) stamp set and CROSSES OF HOPE (also retired) and I teamed them up with the stamp set PETITE PETALS.  Some of the flowers are stamped directly onto the cardstock and some are popped up.  I used the Bird Builder Punch for the leaves and some tiny pearls to accent the flower centers.
Colors: Elegant Eggplant and Pink Pirouette
Inspired by: Melissa Davies

Friday, April 18, 2014
GOOD FRIDAY!  This is just another Easter card I made this year - I need to supply the consignment shop with cards as well as the fact that I send over 50 cards to friends, family and many from church so I sure did make a lot of cards this year just for this one occasion.

Colors used: Elegant Eggplant, Whisper White (cardstock), Elegant Eggplant, Wisteria Wonder and Pear Pizzazz (ink), Easter Blessings and Papillion Potpourri (stamp sets), Tulip Frame and Beautifully Baroque (embossing folders), White Satin Ribbon, Pearls, Small Butterfly Punch (Misc tools). Inspired by Krystal

Easter Blessings

Thursday, April 17, 2014
This is the Easter card that I made for my parents.  I had ONE of the brads left over (that you see under the blue flower) so this is a one and only card.  Again I used my favorite Easter stamp EASTER BLESSINGS.  Since I was using a retired stamp I thought I might just as well use up some retired card stock (Bashful Blue).

The butterflies, again, are from PAPILLION POTPOURRI.  The cross is made using the SQAURE LATTICE DIE and my BIG SHOT. This card was inspired by Linda Creech on Stampin' Connection, a demonstrator only web site.  Come join Christi's Creative Crew and then you, too, can have this fabulous tool for creative stamping ideas.  Just click HERE and then click on JOIN THE FUN

Easter Blessings

Tuesday, April 15, 2014
Time to post the Easter cards that I sent out to friends and family.  I hated to post too early because I didn't want to spoil their surprise.  This is the card that I sent to several of my down line gals.  It uses the Emboss Resist Technique stamping the SWALLOWTAIL stamp with Versa Mark and embossing it with Clear Embossing Powder. Then I sponged it all with Crumb Cake and then wiped off the embossed images with a soft cloth or paper towel.  The little butterfly from PAPILLION POTPOURRI is also stamped with Versa Mark and embossed with clear, sponged with Crumb Cake.  This card would be so cute a any color you choose, and it was inspired by Chris Smith

Easter Blessings is a retired stamp - but it is one of my favorites.

Easter Blessings

Wednesday, March 5, 2014
Getting a start on Easter Cards for the Craft Sale on Saturday as well as stocking up the Used To Be New Consignment Shop.

I love combining the new stamps PETITE PETALS with some of my favorite retired stamps (CROSSES OF HOPE and EASTER BLESSINGS) - inspired by Melissa Davies

The colors I used are Elegant Eggplant and Blushing Bride with some Pear Pizzazz leaves punched from the Bird Builder Punch.  Adding the little pearls and popping up the cross and 3 of the flowers gives it that perfect dimension.

Easter Gable Boxes

Monday, April 1, 2013
I couldn't share these photos until today because I didn't want to spoil the surprise for my kids and grand kids.  I had purchased these gable boxes several years ago from Clearbags.com and I am still on my quest to use up what I have on hand before I start buying new.  I used Linda Steele's punch art for the bunny and chick on Tyler and Gracie's boxes. This was a great chance for me to dig back into my retired designer paper to cover these boxes with.

I used France Martin's technique on coloring the Easter Blessings Greeting.

I trust you all had a wonderful day yesterday, I know our family sure did enjoy our time together as well as the services at church.  It was a wonderful day!
