Easter Card
As I am preparing for Easter this year I am more excited than some years as our Pastor is just finishing up on a series preaching through the book of John. What a wonderful reminder of Christ's sacrifice on my behalf. I am simply amazed by His grace.
I know I will still share with you some fun bunny and chick themed cards, but I know in my heart of hearts that JESUS is who I truly celebrate this day.
Look what came in my mailbox…
I send out so many cards that when I get one in the mail I get pretty excited. This one came from my upline Glenda for Easter. She’s the lucky one who got to spend Spring Break in Florida while we all stick it out here at home, but we had a wonderful Easter celebrating with our family. Dale’s brother, Larry, was here from California with his exchange student, Nick, from the Netherlands and his niece, Kathi, joined us too.
Our youngest son, Joey, with his girlfriend, Melissa, our daughter, Julie with her two children, Tyler and Gracie, (Her husband Jeremy had to work), Me and Dale, Jeff and his girlfriend, Jessica.
The guys had to visit Holland so Nick could compare the real Netherlands to our Holland, MI. He actually got pretty homesick being here.
So here is just a glimpse into our family. I hope you all had a wonderful Easter too.
So For Now…
Happy Stamping!!

Pin It Now!2 More Easter Cards and an Easter Treat
This card I sent to my dear friend Sue who is in my Stampin’ Up! Downline. I sure do appreciate all the help she lends when I need to borrow items for a Stamp 10 class, or when we pool our efforts together for a craft sale, or just when we feel like talking. We are each others confidant in prayer, and our friendship just keeps growing and growing. I love you Sue! Have a great Easter with your family.
I cased this card idea from Gretchen Barron’s website. This is just a plain fun card that I sent to our son Joey. I imagine he will see his share of bunnies this year at his new place.
This idea of creating with punches came from the Stampin’ Connection and once again I do not know the name of the person who submitted it – sorry, but isn’t is cute?!
This fun Easter Bunny Pail is what I made up for Tyler and Gracie. I plan to fill it with colored plastic eggs filled with yummy candy. – or maybe we will have to turn it into an egg hunt – oh, I am so torn. I love the cute things about Easter and the fun with the eggs and all but I want to maintain my focus on the REAL meaning of Easter – Resurrection Sunday! I want the grandkids to know what this special day is all about. There is a fun book that I read to the kids about how fun it is to color eggs, hide and then find eggs, eat yummy Easter candy, but the Most Important Part About Easter is… That Jesus died and now lives for us! You can have this same hope too by trusting in Jesus and His finished work accomplished on the cross for you.
So For Now…
Have a Blessed Easter!!

Pin It Now!Easter Cards
Each month I send out cards to the shut-ins at our church. Several of them are aunties on Dale’s side of the family and I miss seeing them at church. Thought I would share some of the cards I am sending out to them this year for Easter.
I always try to give credit where credit is due and these card ideas came from itsallaboutstamping blog and Robin Merriman on the Stampin' Connection.
I love the name of this stamp set…Abundant Hope…because that is what we have when we have trusted Jesus Christ as our Savior. I am not ashamed to tell you how much I love Him!!
Thank you to Shabbyhorse blogspot for this beautiful card.
I am sure it is extra hard to be stuck at home on Easter Sunday, knowing how much they all love to be fellowshipping with other Believers. I hope these help to brighten their day.
So For Now…
Have a Blessed Easter
