Let's finish up the team shares today!

Linda K shared some gorgeous cards

and on the inside she has a wonderful writing for a sympathy card. She said that she has gotten many orders for this card - I sure can believe that! It's simply elegant!

Everyone was loving her cards and she shared a tip for getting out all of those intricate pieces - she takes a dryer sheet and rubs it on the cut side of her die before cutting our her paper. - I can't wait to give it a try.

Weekly Challenge

This past week's Weekly Challenge was inspired by a team member, Inez.

She made this Dutch Door technique for a previous challenge and suggested that we all give it a try

So I got to work on designing my own Dutch Door Card and this is what I came up with using the DOVE OF HOPE Bundle. I think that dove is absolutely gorgeous!!

Karen made this pretty card using the GOOD MORNING MAGNOLIA stamp set and the designer paper from last years annual catalog that coordinated with it.

Pam also used some retired designer paper and teamed it up with the LOYAL LEAVES Bundle - so pretty

Carla used the ORNATE GARDEN Designer Paper and the Thanks from GOOD MORNING MAGNOLIA

Vicki's card uses FLOWERS FOR EVERY SEASON Designer Paper

Lynda made a beautiful fall card using the LOVE OF LEAVES stamp set.

As you can see, Stampin' Up! has such beautiful patterned papers, and it makes card making such a snap.

Weekly Challenge

Last weeks weekly challenge was to take this sketch challenge by Dawn Griffith

I shared the card that I made with them to show how they do not need to use just those colors or even the square as I used a circle

I will let you know that right off, I "cheated" as I saw my former up-line make one like this. I used the NEW stamp set A GRAND KID that is in the NEW Annual Catalog for the "Congratulations!"

The cap and tassel is a non-Stampin' Up! die (sorry)

However - I did tell them that I am challenging myself to make a new card every day using this layout.

The first team member to participate in the Sketch Challenge is Barb - and what a pretty card she made...

She use the Painted Poppies Dies and she did say that the center circle die is non-Stampin' Up!

Our newest team member, Stephanie, shared these two cards she made when she did a video stamping time with her up line.

Sue decide to use her Memories and More card pack to make her weekly challenge.

Lynda used her Magnolia Designer Paper for this weeks challenge but what is so cool is that she combined it with the NEW Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder. I already LOVE this Embossing Folder!!

Karen sent another challenge card. As she was creating this card she realized it qualified as our layout challenge. So very cool!

Rachel sent in another seascape card! I just love how everyone has put their own personality into their cards, and they are all so cute and different using the same layout

Inez made 2 cards using the same layout, and I love them both. Just an FYI the We'll Walrus Be Friends stamp set (on the left) is on the retired list and the Butterfly Gala stamp set (right card) is carried over to the new annual catalog that goes live on Tuesday!!

Each year I get a large order of cards for a client who sends cards to all of her clients for birthdays and thank you's to send on the anniversary of when they began as her client.
This large order is such a boost to my Stampin' Up! business.
This years cards I chose to use the GEARED UP GARAGE Stamp Set for the masculine cards (x85)
Just an FYI - there is a die set (GARAGE GEARS DIES) that coordinate with this stamp set.
You may have remembered seeing this card that we made at a card class earlier this year. I loved it so much that I duplicated it for this order.

Inspired by Lisa

The feminine Birthday card request (x85) was to include the color yellow, so I pulled out one of my favorite stamps, HEALING HUGS.

Colors used: Daffodil Delight and Mossy Meadow
Additional Stamp Set: BOTANICAL BLISS
And NO! I am not crazy - I did NOT fussy cut all of these cars, flowers and leaves out - I used my Scan 'n Cut which made it quick and easy

Guest Stamper, Shirley

Our guest stamper today is Shirley. Shirley is actually in my 4th level, and Stampin' Up! only recognizes 3 levels, but I like to include them all if I can.

Shirley did an amazing job on the cards that she shared with us at the November team meeting.

This is called a step-card, and it is so cool using the BEST CATCH Stamp Set and Dies

TOILE CHRISTMAS Stamp Set combined with the PERFECTLY PLAID designer paper

GOOD MORNING MAGNOLIA Stamp Set with the MAGNOLIA LANE Designer Paper

And a full set of cards featuring the 2019-2021 In-Colors and the TO A WILD ROSE Stamp Set

Here is an update on the fundraiser that we have been having during the month of November for our grandson, Sawyer who was born with a 1 in a 1,000,000 condition called Xeroderma Pigmentosum (XP). Click HERE to see his introduction video.

With yesterday being Thanksgiving we didn't get any donations come in, but Dale did get a teeny tiny order, and we say that every little penny helps. You can notice the itty bitty dot on the drop reflecting that sale.

Will we make a big puddle at the bottom? I sure hope so but TOMORROW IS THE LAST DAY to donate to get your donation on this thermometer. Of course they can take donations and help at any time, and we appreciate all the love that you have poured out to them.
