Punch Art Class

Thursday, August 21, 2014
Ladies I am having another PUNCH ART CLASS - this month's theme of my Projects Class.
Check out the cute cards you will make...
Along with the 3 cards you will also receive an 8x8 tutorial page to keep for future reference because you KNOW that you are going to want to make some more of these!!
The cute little cow punch art (inspired by a board I saw at Leadership some time ago so I do not know who to give the credit to) was in honor of our home towns Community Fair this week.  I was one of the 4-H judges and I judged several notebooks of kids who were showing their cows this week.
The Elephant...well that needs no explanation because if you watch my blog you know I have a thing for elephants ever since the stamp set (now retired) HENRY SAYS was featured in an Occasions Catalog. He was inspired by Kirsteen Gill who actually created hers using My Digital Studio.  Great job, but I wanted more of a 3-D effect (not all flat to the page).
The Witch was inspired by Patty Bennett some time ago and yes, I am using some retired punches and framelits for these cards.  I tried my best to find alternatives but just couldn't be satisfied with a replacement.  I figured that Halloween is coming up soon so I thought this would be the perfect time to feature her.  I added 2 tickets from the THAT'S THE TICKET stamp set giving it a feel for the production WICKED.  The ladies who come to this class are free to choose from any of my stamps current or retired if they do not want to have the tickets there.
COST: $12.00 - pre pay or pre order ($25 or more) and you will receive a little gift from me. Please RSVP by Monday night so I can have your kit ready for you.

Thanks for stopping by!

Got Milk?

Saturday, June 9, 2012

I've always got my radar out for ideas to use for the up coming craft sales
so when I saw this punch art cow by Dawn Olchefske I knew I wanted to give it a try.

These cute little moo-cows are attached to one of our skinny cello bags
#124134 only $2.50 for 50 1"x8" bags.
Two of the flavored straws for milk fit perfectly in one of the bags.

Thanks For Stopping By!

Have a Blessed Day!!

January Cakes

Monday, January 31, 2011
During January I was hired to make three different cakes. You may have seen this one I made for Melina, one of my day care girls who loves cows.

The second cake was for a gal in my stamping group whose little girl was having Lady Bug Birthday.

It is just like the one I made for our grand daughter, Gracie, with just a few changes in color.
Click HERE if you want to see Gracie and her cake.

The third cake was this past weekend for Senator Bill Huizenga'a birthday celebration...

Over 4" tall and nearly 5# of icing - YUMMOLA!!!

Bill's wife wanted a fun printed greeting - NO SCRIPT - so when I was working on cards I came across this stampfrom our Cherry Chats retired stamp set - so I used that as my inspiration for the greeting.
Who said Stampin' Up! was only for making cards!!??!!

Perhaps you remember his primary cake I made last year...click HERE to see that one.

I never know what each month will bring for cake orders, but I was honored by each one who asked me to make something special for their special days.
