Craft Sale Day!

Saturday, November 22, 2014
It's CRAFT SALE DAY here in Hudsonville.  Just a real quick post here before we head out the door to set up.  This is one more of the fun Thanksgiving treats that can be found in our booth.  And once again these would be great for a table setting but it would also be a fun treat to put in your college students care package.  I have a variety from gummy bears and jelly beans for the kiddos and trail mix and granola for the more health conscious.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and thanks to all of you who will stop by our booth today.  The magic phrase for today is "Christi's Creative Crew".  Say this to me and you get to pick a greeting card from my card rack for FREE ($2 value)!!

Stamping on Candles Technique

Saturday, November 20, 2010
Just a quick reminder that if you are in the Hudsonville MI area we would love to have you stop by our booth at the craft sale held in Hudsonville High School 5051 32nd Ave. Our booth is in the cafeteria. If you tell me you saw this blog posting I will put your name in the blog candy drawing. Hope to see you there.

This is the second technique that we learned at this months Technique Class...
How to stamp on candles... It really is easier than you think. We also made the cute little box that they fit into. What a fun hostess gift to bring to a gathering. We made this fall version at
class...

Colors used: Cherry Cobbler, More Mustard, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie

but I also made up this winter set using a variety of retired stamp sets and current stamp sets,

and this coffee themed set using the stamp set called Morning Cup and with this set I used our In Colors: Pear Pizzazz, Poppy Parade, Peach Parfait, and Concord Crush.

The ladies were surprised at how easy it really was. In fact once you burn the candles down, the image is still there.

And don't forget about the blog candy I am giving away. You still have until Sunday, November 21st to leave a comment on my blog and your name goes in a drawing. Click HERE to see all the goodies that you could win.

So For Now...

Happy Stamping!!

Faux Tile Technique

Wednesday, October 20, 2010
Last night we had our Techniques Class and learned three different techniques. This technique is called Faux Tile and really very simple by dividing your cardstock in 1 in squares, stamping your image and then using a marker to go over the lines without running the lines over your stamped image. This is the card the ladies made, and it will make a nice Thanksgiving greeting for a friend or loved one.

Here is another example of the same technique...

Hope you can join us sometime for a techniques class. Tune in tomorrow for the next techniques we did.

So For Now...

Happy Stamping!!

STAMP 10

Friday, November 27, 2009

Last week was our monthly STAMP 10 classes. What a great time we had once again. 8 ladies on Tuesday night and a full house of 10 ladies on Thursday night. BTW – you ladies are the BEST! I have so much fun at these classes! Here are the non-Christmas cards we made at that class.

There's a family joke surrounding this card and why I chose the brown turkey.

DSCF2317 Although I like them all, I think that these last two are my favorite. Stay tuned tomorrow - I will show you some of the Christmas cards we made.
