Pop-out Accordian Card

Check out this fun fold card - it is called a pop-out accordion card and features two different designer papers:

I cased this fun fold from Lisa Curcio 

What I changed up: 

I used my retired daisy stamp sets and punches and the brand new TIMELESS ARRANGEMENTS DIES and the DAINTY DELIGHT Stamp Set for the "celebrate you"

I mentioned in an earlier post that I have been prepping fun folds for our team retreat in October and this will be one of them. Do you think that anyone will take up the challenge?

Weekly Challenge

Last weeks weekly challenge to my team was to make a card using a stamp set that is on the retiring list.

I shared with them this card that I made last year using the stamp set FABLE FRIENDS

I made this one for my daughter in law who has our 3 youngest grand children, and then I made one with only 2 little baby goose for our daughter who has our 2 oldest grand children. (Last year)

The first card sent in is from Carla - she used the BEST CATCH stamp set and said she is sad to see it go. (me too)

Rachel sent in the second card ... Rachel is new back in to stamping and only had one current stamp set that is now on the retired list, so she used SWEETLY SWIRLED. She made one with and one without the sweet little pup from BELLA & FRIENDS

A perfect sentiment for our stay-at-home-mandate

Anna made this card using BROADWAY BIRTHDAY

Barb used the stamp set HONEY BEE

And so did Janell - and Janell said she used the bubble wrap technique

Pam made this very spring-like card with DAISY DELIGHT

Just an FYI Although Daisy Delight is retiring, Daisy LANE is NOT retiring                                     

so you can still make gorgeous daisies and use those punches

Karen made a sympathy card using FLOURISHING PHRASES

Lynda made a cute thank you card using ANIMAL OUTING

I bet there are a lot of people you can send thank you cards to during this time.

Inez made this next card with the BEE THANKFUL stamp 

And Vicki used WOVEN HEIRLOOMS stamp set - just an FYI - the Woven Heirlooms Stamp Set is RETURNING but the fabulous frame dies and embossing folders are on the RETIRING LIST. I love these frames so very much and am super sad to see them go. Be sure to get your order in before it is too late and they are all gone.

Brenda made this next card using the LET IT RIDE stamp set and the CRACKLE PAINT BACKGROUND STAMP

The very last card to come in takes 4 photos to show the whole thing. Jodie called this a One-fold card

 Jodie used the stamp set IT STARTS WITH ART and the FOLLOW YOUR ART Designer Paper

Weekly Challenge

This past week I issued another fold technique card.
I was inspired by Ronda Wade for this fun fold so I made a video for my team and challenged them to make a card using this fold. They did not need to make it with the circle and balloons, but you will see that some did.
Here is the card that I shared with them

 My colors were Calypso Coral, Pool Party and Daffodil

 Our first card was made by Carla - I love the color scheme and I find that this card is so versatile for a variety of ages.

Barb sent this cute one using the DRESSED TO IMPRESS products

Rachel sent this pretty card using the Painted Poppies products

Brenda sent this masculine card using the FREE stamp set she earned during SAB

Lynda made this gorgeous card using the new Ornate Gardens products
