Christmas Card Class Review

Last week Saturday I held a Christmas Card Class

WHEW!! I think I over did it just a bit. The next day I was so VERY sore, but it was worth it as I never had even one minute where some wonderful lady friend wasn't enjoying making these cards from 9 am to 4 pm. I feel very blessed.

Since I am not making very many cards right now, I will share the Christmas cards that were made that day. I'm so thankful that I am NOT a procrastinator and therefore had everything prepared. A sweet friend came and helped me to set it up the day before so that I didn't over-do.

A couple items that were out at the National Card Making Day October 2nd, but I had leftovers so thought I should just put them out for the Christmas Card Class

These little elves are so stinkin' cute! I'm thankful for my friend, Janell, who let me borrow her retired stamp set to make this card as well as these gift tags

The TAILOR MADE TAGS DIES will be (should be) available to purchase mid November, but they are so amazing!

Weekly Challenge

Last weeks Weekly Challenge to my team was a color challenge
The colors I chose are: Granny Apple Green, Highland Heather and Calypso Coral...

I share my card with them to get them started:

I love it that they both pulled out their gingham designer paper, but the two cards are totally different!

She even sent a photo of the inside of her card:

Vicki - Love how she colored her ribbon with a Stampin' Blend

Inez made this Herringbone technique card using designer paper

Barb also used the Rise & Shine Stamp Set - so cute!

This card was made by one of our newest team members: Rachel

Since Rachel did not have the exact colors of our challenge on hand, she didn't let that stop her.

This is what Rachel said: 

"I have nothing current so made due. Inspired by my Aviary set since we are all cooped up in our houses. 

Calypso Coral, Lavender Lace, Gumball Green color combo.

Aviary, Hardwood & Sheltering Tree stamp sets.

Apple green grosgrain."
Carla sent these cards made with the Butterfly Gala Designer Paper that was one of the FREE products from 2019 Sale a ration
