Christmas Gift Card/Cash Holders

After my sister in law saw the money holder/gift card holder card that I made for our son, Joey, for his birthday, she contacted me to make some Christmas ones for her kids and grandkids.
I totally forgot to take a photo of them but I was glad she was willing to send me these pictures so I could share them with you.

Sentimental Sunday

Today is our youngest son, Joey's, birthday!!
I thought it would be fun to tuck his birthday money in a pocket using the POCKETFUL OF SUNSHINE stamp set.

I'm sure with their new house, some extra cash will come in handy.

for the rivets in the pocket I used the 1/8" handheld circle punch and the COPPER FOIL.  the card front is embossed using one of our new, fantastic DYNAMIC Embossing Folders: PINEWOOD PLANKS.  The Pocket is stamped with the image from YOU'VE GOT THIS Stamp Set, using Marina Mist Ink on Soft Sky Card Stock.  The stitching is Cajun Craze Ink.

Guest Stamper, Donne

Tuesday night was our team meeting and this girls love to share!!  And I am one very thankful team leader.
Today I am featuring the designs by Donne.  Donne is actually in my "side-line", but our up-line is no longer a demonstrator so Donne is a great addition to our team meeting night.
Donne shared the cards that she made to use at her own stamp class

 Card #1 Donne used the floral stamp from WOOD WORDS and the STYLIZED BIRTHDAY single stamp.  I love the white heat embossing on the Night of Navy Card Stock.  It is very striking.

Donne said her sweet mama designed this card for her and I absolutely love it!  I have yet to use my own OH SO ECLECTIC BUNDLE.

 This card is also made using the OH SO ECLECTIC BUNDLE. Love the vibrant colors

 The next 3 cards Donne used the BEAUTIFUL BOUQUET Stamp Set.  This first one she used the Coordinating Dies BEAUTIFUL BUNCH. Buy them together as a BUNDLE and save 10%

 These next 2 she stamped the flowers and used the bow die to tie them together.

 She said that she likes to make 2 cards from the same stamp set or bundle to increase her sales. Then she made this third one to show it in a different color scheme.  Smart tips, I think!!

Donne cased this card from a card I made in one of my Tuesday classes, but instead of using the "ink-dragging" technique she used the "marble-roll" technique. Stamp Sets used: POCKETFUL OF SUNSHINE and HAPPY BIRTHDAY GORGEOUS

This card features the retired Succulent Garden Designer Paper and the Dragonfly Dreams Stamp Set and Dies.

Inspired by Chat W.  I never seem to have enough get well cards on hand so I thought this one was perfect.  It features the Weather Together Bundle and a retired set called Four You. Colors are: Dapper Denim and Mint Macron

Hope You Are Having COOL Summer!

You have seen me post a few fun cards made using the POCKETFUL OF SUNSHINE BUNDLE

Each time I used the pocket stamp and die but let's not forget about the other super fun elements in this bundle.

This card (inspired by Mary Brown) is super "COOL"

Yes, I will confess that I used a couple retired products because I did not have the one that Mary used. The hash tag is a die from LITTLE NUMBERS DIES and the stamp is from @SOSOCIAL.

You Dazzle Me!

This card from my Tuesday class what the biggest hit, even selling out of the sample card.

But instead of making more of the same card for the store, using the POCKETFUL OF SUNSHINE stamp set, I thought I should make a new style. This one, however, is NOT a gift card holder (of course you can always slip some cash to the inside. I actually cut off the tabs and adhered it directly to the card front.

This card was inspired by Anna (found though Pinterest) but she did not give instructions, just a list of supplies. I chose to do the same "ink drag" technique on the top layer and the pocket like I used in the first card (which was Dapper Denim ink on Dapper Denim card stock). On this card I used Pink Pirouette ink on Pink Pirouette Card Stock. 

The glasses and the Dazzle sentiment are heat embossed with Silver Embossing Powder and Versa Mark Ink. 

I love all the bling on this card!  What girl doesn't like the blinged out pockets on her jeans!!

For the pocket tag I chose to pull out a piece of Silver Shimmer Card Stock even though it is retired.  I still have quite a stash and it only takes a tiny bit. If you want to copy this card you can always use Basic Gray Card Stock.

Come Stamp With Me!

Tuesday's is always a COME STAMP WITH ME day!! It must be my favorite days of the week because my stamping friends join me to stamp and create. Card #1: was inspired by Lorri Heiling.  What a fun gift card holder using the POCKETFUL of SUNSHINE stamp set and the coordinating dies.

Card #2:  Starting in July I have a Christmas card out each week.  The ladies love this and many of them make multiples.  This is always the first card to sell out.  The snowflakes are from the new stamp set COLORFUL SEASONS, but I combined it with the retired stamp set Zoo Review and Many Merry Messages

Card #3: The great thing about my COME STAMP WITH ME TUESDAY is that I allow myself to use retired stamps, papers and accessories. This cute froggy is from the Hostess Exclusive LOVE YOU LOTS stamp set, but I combined it with the (still current) SwirlyBird Stamp Set and Swirly Scribbles Dies and the POP OF PARADISE Stamp Set (the Hello). This card was inspired by ? - I cannot remember where I copied this card from.

Card #4: (inspired by Pinterest) and since I was borrowing the POP OF PARADISE Stamp Set from one of the gals on my team, I thought I might just as well use the Flamingo image for this fun card using the (now retired) Designer Paper, Pop of Pink.

Paper Pumpkin & So Much More!!

Now, let me get this straight... you do NOT need to craft within the lines!! One of the most fun things about subscribing to Paper Pumpkin is coming up with alternate ideas. 

 I saw this fun card fold and thought I would give it a try using the June 2017 Paper Pumpkin kit.

I had some elements left over from the previous card so combined them to make this card.  I embossed a 4" x 5.25" piece of Vellum card stock using the SOFTLY FALLING embossing folder to give the card dimension.

 I was playing with the POCKETFUL of SUNSHINE stamp set and coordinating thinlits dies and thought the darling fruity note card (that comes in the kit) would make a cute pocket purse.
I even found some healthier-for-you fruit snacks to go inside.

After I cut out the pocket from the note card I ended up with a 1.5" strip so I made the ends into a banner and turned it into a magnetic bookmark.  It snaps right over the card front so that your card is also a gift! I used the OH MY STARS! embossing folder and then stamped images from LABEL ME PRETTY and POP OF PARADISE Stamp Sets.

On this next card (inspired by Debbie Henderson) I layered a 3.75" x 5" piece of the tissue paper to a 4" x 5.25" piece of Whisper White Card Stock and put them both on a card base of Lemon Lime Twist. (5.5" x 8.5" scored at 4.25")
The "Hooray" Stamp, banner and the leaf are included in the kit. On this one I stamped the watermelon using the stamp provided in the kit and cut one down for a wedge. 

This next box was inspired by Rachel Tessman.  She showed some of these sweet fruit slice candies on her blog so, of course, I had to find some of them as well.  I had some Lemon Lime Twist colored tissue paper on hand and it went perfectly with this treat box that will also be a gift for someone special.

Last, but not least, I made a scrapbook page that was inspired by Janet Holmes on the Paper Pumpkin Fan Club Facebook Page. What? there's a Paper Pumpkin Fan Club??!! you betcha - started by Rachel Tessman we now have a TON of ideas from a multitude of Paper Pumpkin subscribers.
