This card was inspired by Sharnni Hannes

What I changed: I made it a slim line card, and my critters are larger than the stamp set because I increased their size from the designer paper using my printer.

I had decided to pull out my HAPPY FOREST FRIENDS Designer Paper and see what I could do with it.

I also used 3 of the designs for scrapbook pages

I didn't stop there... the 12 x 12 sheet that you see in the top right of the previous photo has this little bear image so I was able to get 2 cards like this. I also fussy cut the owl on the stump from that same sheet. I still have all of those trees that I can fussy cut out. I added the balloons from ELEPHANT PARADE (item #158697) and colored them in with Calypso Coral, Old Olive and Daffodil Delight.

The top left 12x12 sheet is filled with the cute little bears, fox, owls, birds and little mushrooms (and a ton of flowers) so I sat down one evening while I watched TV, and did a bunch of fussy cutting to use on these Baby Thank You Notes for the baby showers at church.

I used the KRAFT NOTE CARDS & ENVELOPES (item #159247) which comes with 20 note cards and envelopes and they also come with a box to hold them. The greenery is from FOREVER FLOURISHING DIES (item #152714)

I always use the retired CUDDLES & KISSES (*retired) for my "thanks to you from baby & me."

Along with the 12 thank you notes I make a matching card to attach to the gift, and one to send to them when the baby comes.

I had enough pieces left to make 2 hello baby congratulations cards to keep on hand.

Valentine's for the Grandkids

Bear Hugs

This cute little baby card was inspired by Debbie Henderson, a very talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrator in Maine. I met Debbie when we were both at the same incentive trip to Washington DC. I have loved all the amazing friends that I have made since I became a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.

 Of course, I had to make some for both boys and girls.

Another Baby Card for another family at church. there sure has been a lot of babies born in the last couple months!
This sweet little baby girl made her arrival on Christmas Day, and this is the card that I made for her

A,B,C Baby!

Last month we had a baby shower at church which prompted me to share a baby card with you today.

I love this card inspired by Su Mohr which features the LETTERS FOR YOU Stamp Set and the LARGE LETTERS FRAMELITS DIES

I don't always use the stamp set with the dies, but I really like the softer look on this baby card using the stamp set along with the dies.

Colors used: Mint Macron, Pineapple Punch and Blushing Bride

Don't you just love the CABLE KNIT Embossing Folder behind the LAYERING SQUARES??!!

The MINI Stampin' Dimensionals are PERFECT for popping up these frames.

I could use the FOAM STRIPS as well, but they are just a bit thicker so I opted for the mini dimensionals instead.

Hello, Baby...

Only one more month and our next grand baby should arrive!!
We are so excited to welcome him or her into our family. I love waiting to know the sex of the baby until it is here. It's a great anticipation!!
This sweet baby boy card was one that the ladies made at a COME STAMP WITH ME TUESDAY class.

And because I already have my STAMPARATUS, the ladies get to use it for this 3 step stamping of the cute teddy bear.

If you weren't able to get in on the reservation period, you will be able to purchase the STAMPARATUS when the annual catalog comes out in June. 

I cased this card from Su Mohr

Here are the dimensions that I came up with. Not sure what Sue did but this is what I figured out so maybe this will help you out if you want to case the card or use it as a sketch layout.

Pool Party: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4

                   5 1/2 x 4 1/2 embossed with the CABLE KNIT embossing folder.  (you actually could skip this step and just emboss the front of your card base)

Crumb Cake: 4 1/2 x 3 1/4

                      3 5/8 x 2 3/8

Designer Paper: 4 3/8 x 3 1/8

Whisper White: 3 1/2 x 2 1/4

Colors for stamping the teddy: 

Step #1 Crumb Cake

Step #2 Soft Suede (stamped off once)

Step #3 Chocolate Chip

Fussy cut, then add to the card front.

At the end of each blog this month I have been featuring the STAMPARATUS! a new positioning tool that you are going to LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!
My very own STAMPARATUS was delivered last night and I couldn't wait to play with it to see if it really was all they were claiming it to be.
