This is a card that I made for our one year old grandson, Liam. And I used one of the napkins from his first birthday party in November using the technique I learned from Brandi Cox.

Only three more days before the new January to June Mini Catalog AND the January to February Sale a bration period to earn free products starts.

Elegant Basic Black and Gold Foil

I used a retired steal ruled die for the numbers and the HELLO YOU Thinlits with some gold and silver cording.  The envelopes are lined with the gold foil specialty paper. (retired)  The Balloons are punched using the Balloon Bouquet Punch

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone! My prayer for you all is that this year you will experience the complete joy that only God can give. No matter our circumstances or things that come our way, that God alone would be your source of contentment.

You may have seen my post earlier when my pen pal came for a visit, well this is the card and gift box I made for Becky for New Years.

I cheated a little bit by packaging it all up and sending it home with her and made her promise not to open it until the New Year.

And here is a close up of the box...thanks to the Stampin' Connection. The original idea that I saw had a different New Year Baby on it, but I wanted the card and box to coordinate.

I have been writing to my pen-pal, Becky, for 40 years now and this is the card that I sent her for New Years. And the sentiment I wrote on the front of her card is also the same sentiment I would share with you all. Have a wonderful New Year! I pray God’s richest blessings on you all and I also hope we will spend time with one another in a variety of ways over this next year 2010.
