Christmas Lodge + Henry

Monday, December 24, 2012
This stamp set was a HUGE hit in the 2011 Holiday Mini Catalog.  My friend Sue bought this one so I chose to just borrow hers, and while I had it on hand I wanted to make up this card that is inspired by Ann Schach

Lots of Dazzling Details, and pearls

Always Artichoke (retired) button and Ribbon, Mini Jingle Bells and a Merry Tag from Tiny Tags Stamp Set

INSIDE

So what is Henry up to? Henry has found a friend...  This is how our bed looks when it is all made up nice...
Bear has held this special spot for several years, ever since Dale bought him for me as a Valentine gift. Now both Henry and Bear can have a comfy place together.  However, Henry usually spends his days on the crafting table keeping me company.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hello from Sunny Florida!! Yes, I am posting this blog on our first full day of our vacation in Daytona Beach, Florida. Looking forward to a beautiful week with the hubby!

Here is the Red Hot Stampers Sketch Challenge for this week...

When I saw this right away my first thought was .... "I'm NOT using hearts" crazy I know, but since I am making so many Valentines and you MUST be sick of seeing so many (there are still more to come too) I thought I would venture off and do it MY WAY! After all, that was the theme at the Leadership Conference in Texas just 2-3 weeks ago!

Here is my take on it...

I have SOOOOOO MANY buttons on hand from the free bundles we receive
(as a Manager) that I needed a way to showcase them. Plus the little itty bitty ones...
they are the new Twitterpatted buttons from the new
Occasions Mini! - see...now I just plugged the new Mini too -
wow am I ever multi-tasking!!

Thanks for Stopping By!

Have a Blessed Day!!

Do you like what you see with this stamp and paper? These were an April only special, but they will be back in the new Big Catalog and Idea Book on July 1st!!

This last card is a Gift Card holder. With Graduation and Wedding season upon us I thought the ladies would like to have an example to make gift card holders according to their needs. I have actually made this style many times and it is amazing how you can change it up just by switching out your paper and ink colors and you stamp set. The ideas are endless!

Flight of the Butterfly

Saturday, November 6, 2010
Just the other day the kids and I found the biggest, fluffy-est, caterpillar that was a beautiful brown and orange color. I told Tyler that the more fluffy the caterpillar the harder the winter is projected to be. Not much after that Dale heard a projected winter weather forecast for Michigan and he heard that we are supposed to get 88 inches of snow this year when our average is 72 inches. I can only imagine that the beautiful caterpillar will be a gorgeous butterfly come next Spring.

So I thought it was time to pull out a stamp set that I haven't used in a while, and have a chance to use up some more retired Designer Paper

MENU:
SS: Flight of the Butterfly, Tiny Tags
CS: WW, Soft Suede, So Saffron, Sweet Pea DSP
INK: Soft Suede, So Saffron
Accessories: Butterfly Punch, Tiny Tag Punch, Border Punch, Soft Suede Polka Dot Ribbon (retired), Perfect Dot EF, Big Shot
Thanks To: Chat

So For Now...

Happy Stamping!!

STAMP 10

Thursday, March 25, 2010

Here are 4 more cards that we made for our March STAMP 10 Class.

March '10 6

This card shows how you can institute our beautiful Designer Paper into your card fronts. The heart is heat embossed on Chocolate Chip CS with WW craft ink and White EP. Thank you to pcgaynor at Splitcoast for this easy card idea.

March '10 3

This card I LOVE! – wouldn’t this make a beautiful thank you note for a Bridal Shower or Wedding? Thank you to Brandi Weinette on Stampin' Connection for this beautiful card.

March '10 4

I love the little deer from our Forest Friends SS. Combine it with our Tall Tales DSP and you have a fun and easy card for any age. Thank you to Patsy Waggoner for this idea.

March '10 5

This Stamp set can still be earned FREE until March 30th with a $50 or more order. It is called Good Neighbor and I combined it with the Welcome Neighbor DSP that you can also earn FREE during Sale-a-bration with a $50 order. The great thing now with Stampin’ Up! is that they are offering the new stamp sets in wood block or clear. Using this stamp set in clear helps to line the pieces up just where you want them. Thank you to stampspaperscissors blog for this idea.

So For Now…

Happy Stamping!!
