Father's Day Guy Greetings

Monday, June 1, 2015
Now that June is here I thought I would show you some Father's Day cards
This card is so super simple, but I wanted to show it to you today because the Designer Paper that looks like water is in the Adventure Bound Paper Stack and TOMORROW is the LAST DAY that you can order that paper!  You are going to LOVE  the variety of designs that come in that stack.  I featured that paper stack a while back for a weeks worth of blogging, but saved this one for a Father's Day Post.
I am super happy to announce that the GUY GREETINGS Stamp Set featured here IS in the new catalog - that also goes live TOMORROW!! Yup! there is a one day overlap of both catalogs!
Click HERE to see a PDF of the NEW CATALOG
Click HERE to view the Occasions Catalog
Click HERE to view the Retiring Products (TOMORROW is also the LAST DAY to get in on the retiring products.
Click HERE to check out the WEEKLY DEALS (today is the last day for those)
Click HERE to check out the CLEARANCE RACK items
And while you are there please place your order using this HOSTESS CODE W7AYPUB4 however if your order reaches $150 please do not use the hostess code because you automatically become your own hostess and will receive free product.
Since the Adventure Bound Designer Paper Stack is soon to be unavailable I thought I would tease you with one more card using that paper stack - fair warning though - the cute stamp set is retired. :( but perhaps you would have other fabulous ideas for this print!!
Thanks for shopping by!

Wrapping Up The Week: Adventure Bound

Friday, March 13, 2015
I have made more cards using the ADVENTURE BOUND Designer Paper Stack than I have days to share with you so I will share a final few that were also favorites of mine.
On this card I used my non-Stampin' Up! product called "flower-soft" that I bought at a local hobby store.  I loved how the flowers are climbing the brick wall.
This one will be great for an anniversary or maybe I can save it for next year's Valentines Day! - so cute using the WOOD YOU BE MINE? stamp set.
The beautiful Lotus Blossom on this card is one of the stamp sets that you can get FREE with a $50 purchase during Sale a bration. These 2 cards are using the same woodgrain paper from the ADVENTURE BOUND Designer Series Paper Stack.  I love the versatility of this paper!
Another favorite with the tree images.  All I had to do was add the beautiful Butterfly.  It is layered with vellum and Mossy Meadow card stock
Simple guy card - I love the antique car image because my brother-in-law owns antique cars and when I was a teen ager he would take me for rides in his Model-T.  I loved how all the people would stare and be envious of being able to ride in a car like that.  Of course it wasn't so cool when the car stopped running at a stop light and he had to get out to crank it!! Great memories!!
This card was one we made at a COME STAMP WITH ME Tuesday Class using the stone image paper from the ADVENTURE BOUND Designer Series Paper Stack
And this one with the water - so cool! I teamed it up with the MOON LAKE stamp set for my February Stamp a Stack class.  The ladies got to do some creative sponging on this one.
Believe it or not, I still have a couple more paper designs that I still haven't used yet.  This paper stack is such a great bargain at only $6.95 for 48 sheets of 4 1/2" x 6 1/2" double sided designer paper. (4 each of 12 double-sided designs)
Oh my there are so many items to list. Please just click HERE to shop with me, and if you have any questions you can contact me via email at christiwaite@gmail.com

Beautiful Birch and a WINNER!

Thursday, March 12, 2015
We have another winner on the 25/25 board

Congratulations Pauline! You get $25 in FREE Stampin' Up! product from me!

Remember this card from yesterday's post?
Can you see the paper that I used to punch out the body of the owl?  It is a beautiful birch wood print. Here are more cards using that birch paper print. I teamed it up with the WORLD OF DREAMS stamp set for a beautiful Sympathy card (inspired by Becky Roy)
I ended up with all these ovals cut out when making this card (I stamp in bulk you know)
So I made this one using up the ovals for behind the beautiful Blackberry Bliss Butterfly (inspired by Justin Krieger)

Flag it!

Wednesday, March 11, 2015
With the extra strips left over from yesterday's card and the ones you see below I was able to make flags for this card.
The flip side of the plaid paper is this gorgeous woodgrain with pine tree print.  I think these were my favorite to make.  Especially with my daughter liking owls the way she does.  You will be seeing this card out next week for the COME STAMP WITH ME TUESDAY class.
And my daughter in law loves butterflies.  This one turned out so elegant (inspired by Carolyn Lindenmayer)
Ok I guess you want to see what supplies you will want to recreate these cards

You Warm My Heart

Tuesday, March 10, 2015
So glad that the weather here in Michigan is gradually starting to warm up, but there are definitely days when a sweater is still called for.   This cute cable knit design in the ADVENTURE BOUND Designer Series Paper Stack used on this card will actually be out TODAY at the COME STAMP WITH ME TUESDAY class.  If you live in my area please feel free to pop on in between the hours of 10 am and 5 pm.  There are 4 different cards out for you to stamp for only $1.50 each - all I ask is that you bring along your own adhesive.  You can choose which color you like best or make some of each.
The sentiment comes from the Photopolymer Stamp Set called A SHELTERING TREE found in the Occasions Catalog on page 22
With any $50 purchase you can choose something from the Sale a bration Catalog for FREE and that is how I got the cute buttons you see on these cards.  Colors featured are Calypso Coral and Coastal Cabana.
HERE is what you will want to make these cards for yourself

The flip side of this cable knit paper is the Chocolate Chip and Early Espresso herringbone pattern shown on this card
This card was teamed up with the stamp set called GUY GREETINGS found in the Occasions Catalog found on page 41.  It is available in 3 varieties, wood mount, clear mount or Photopolymer
Stay tuned tomorrow to see what other card(s) I made using the Cherry Cobbler Plaid Pattern.

Adventure Bound

Monday, March 9, 2015
This week I am featuring the Designer Series Paper Stack called ADVENTURE BOUND.  This paper stack is found in the Occasions Catalog on page 40.  It comes with 48 sheets (4 each of 12 double sided designs) that measure 4 1/2" x 6 1/2".  I love this paper because it has the masculine touch and we all know how hard it is sometimes to come up with the masculine cards for the men and boys in our life.
For today I will feature the sheet that has the sawn lumber and I am teaming it up with the Stamp Set called WOOD YOU BE MINE? also found in the Occasions Catalog.
This was the first card that I made (inspired by Heidi Weaver)
And then I ended up with extra strips to make this card
Sorry, the alphabet dies are retired - but this just shows you that you need to buy these when they first come out so you will have them for future projects.  They are perfect for your scrapbooking too.
Here is what you will want to make this card (inspired by Robyn Rasset)
