Get it?! CELE-BR-8 !! This cute little octopus, of course, has 8 tentacles!!  What a fun birthday card for any age.  I was inspired by a card made by Mary Brown.

Yes, the fussy cutting of the octopus is that hardest part of this card, but sometimes you just need to take a little time to do it because it just wouldn't be as cute (on this card) if it wasn't cut out.

Sea Street Birthday

One of the fun new stamp sets in the main catalog is called SEA STREET.  I saw a card design like this one at Convention so I changed up the colors and added a little bling.  The cute little octopus was stamped in Real Red then I smooshed it with Versa Mark and Heat embossed it with Clear Embossing Powder to give it stability and a little shine too.  Yes, yes, a little fussy cutting of the octopus and then popped it up with a Stampin' Dimensional.

I used the MARITIME Designer Paper, but added some stamped starfish and lobsters.
A fun little birthday card especially for someone who loves the ocean.
