Guest Stamper - Carla V

Tuesday, May 3, 2016
Today I am featuring my very talented friend, Carla V.  She was asked to make Bridal Shower Invitation Cards and this is what she came up with...
I absolutely love it!!  What fun she must have had using all her punches to create this beautiful and fun invitation.  I would love to give you the link to her blog, but she doesn't have one so I am happy to post for her.  You can leave her a comment and I will pass it on to her.  I am sure she will appreciate it.
Thanks for stopping by!

Bridal Shower Card and Open House Reminder

Friday, June 12, 2015
You can tell I've been extra busy when I miss a day of blogging.
Today I will show you the third Bridal Shower Card that I was asked to make.
The theme for this shower revolved around the honeymoon destination.  Maybe you can guess by how I made the card...
So thankful that I have dear friends who will let me use their Cricut Machine when I come up with ideas I cannot create with my stamps.  Also very thankful that I did not get rid of this retired Designer Paper from 2 years ago (or so).
Now here is a reminder to you all for my NEW CATALOG OPEN HOUSE

There will be:

Special Order Bridal Shower Card #2

Wednesday, June 10, 2015
Just wanted to give you all a heads up on the WEEKLY DEALS for June 9-15
The second Bridal Shower Card that I was asked to make was for a Bridal Shower with the theme "baking"/"cooking".
I used a followed a punch art by Bonnie Montford but changed it up to make it a girl chef, and I am not sure what punch she used for the hat but I chose to use the Scalloped Oval Punch.  Since hers was a purchasable tutorial I will not show the punch art board I made, but I was able to just view the photo and figure out what she used.  I can say that I used the Owl Builder Punch for her hair because that is something I came up with.
I hope you like it!

Special Order #2

Tuesday, June 9, 2015
A Bridal Shower card: Special Order
I'm always glad to take special orders for friends.  I used the same pattern I used for Anna's Bridal Shower Card, but I just changed up the colors to match the wedding colors
I used a retired Specialty Paper because my NEW Specialty Paper has not arrived yet.  I am so happy that Stampin' Up! is giving us some pre-embossed paper that we can make any color we want.  The new paper is called COLOR ME IRRESISTIBLE
Pick a pack of patterned paper! So many designs, so many colors, so many uses! Each colored sheet has subtle embossing. Color the white sides to make patterns pop! Single-sided.
* 12 sheets: 6 sheets white, 6 sheets other colors (1 of each coordinating color listed below)
* 12" x 12"
* Acid free
* Lignin free
Coordinating colors: Black, Cucumber Crush, Delightful Dijon, Mint Macaron, Tip Top Taupe, Watermelon Wonder, Whisper White
I can't wait for mine to arrive!! You will be able to see it at the NEW Catalog Open House on Friday June 19, 6-9pm or Saturday, June 20, 10am-2pm.  Come to see some of the new products.  There will be Make & Takes, demonstrations, snacks, Door Prize Drawings, and a Buy 1 Get 1 Sale going on. Hope to see you then.
Thanks for stopping by!

Bridal Shower Card

Saturday, September 18, 2010
Yesterday I shared with you the Bridal Shower Invitations that I made for Jessica’s shower that my sisters are giving her, so now I will show you the card that I made to go with the gift I am giving her. I hope she likes it!!

Bear Bride a

The Designer Paper I used for the dress is the retired Brides Designer Paper – very appropriate don’t you think!!

For the sky I used mostly Bashful Blue but I put a smidge of Marina Mist in it too.

For the Grass I used mostly Certainly Celery, but I added some Pear Pizzazz as well.

Bear Bride c

The Flowers are punched from the Boho Blossom Punch and the leaves are from the Two Step XL Bird Punch.

Bear Bride b

Check out the toile under skirt and the garter belt!!

You just gotta love the Build A Bear Dies!! Thanks goes to Cathy Snipes for this cute idea.

So For Now…
Happy Stamping!!

Bridal Shower Invitations

Friday, September 17, 2010
Tomorrow is the Bridal shower my sisters are giving for Jessica, and this is the invitation that I made for it.
I love the colors that Jeff and Jess chose for their wedding – brown and burnt orange. Of course with Stampin’ Up! you can’t just call your paper brown and orange – so I used Chocolate Chip and Really Rust. If you could see this in person you would see the way it glistens from spritzing the front with our Champagne Shimmer Paint – so elegant!

Tyler loved pitching in to help crank out the Top Note using Gramma’s BIG SHOT. It really was a big help because this card has a LOT of layers, but it is just perfect for this special occasion. I will post photos later but not right away, as I am headed for a weekend with my mom and sisters after the shower is done. Have a great weekend everyone - I know I will!!

So For Now…
Happy Stamping!!
