Bet you think that I am doing a post about my sweetheart!! Fooled ya!

This post is about the TRUE LOVE Designer Paper that is soon to retire.

Check out some cute cards that use this great Black and White designer paper

Inspired by Lorri Heiling

Am I fooling you on this last card (inspired by Penne' Richman)? The flowers are fussy cut out from one of the sheets and colored in with Flirty Flamingo light and dark Stampin' Blends & dark Mossy Meadow for the leaves.

The card base is Blushing Bride and embossed with one of my favorite embossing folders: Painted Texture, then Blushing Bride added using the new Stampin' Blending Brushes.

Such an elegant card.

One more card:

This card (inspired by Lesley) uses the True Love Designer Paper for the Black and White back ground as well as the fussy cut flowers that I colored with Highland Heather, Poppy Parade and Daffodil Delight.

I officially have used ALL of my True Love designer paper up! I can be such a paper hoarder that I wanted to purpose to use it before it retired, but I see that my drawer is now PACKED with the retired or soon to retire paper so that I can make room for all the new amazing papers in the new annual catalog.

You might say "what am I going to do with that?" Well, let me just show you...

These two cards show the difference between the two stamps in the set

As you can see it teams up so nicely with the stamp set DANDELION WISHES
But there is so much more you can do with it...

This cute little elephant (I call all my elephants HENRY) was stamped using BOKEH DOTS in Basic Gray onto Whisper White Card Stock, then stamped the elephant from A LITTLE WILD using MEMENTO BLACK Ink, and cut out with the coordinating LITTLE LOVES FRAMELITS DIES

On this anniversary card I used FLIRTY FLAMINGO ink and BOKEH DOTS then stamped the Rhino with MEMENTO BLACK and cut out with the coordinating ANIMAL FRIENDS FRAMELITS DIES. The embossing folder I used is called LAYERING LEAVES and the three strips are cut at 1 1/4", 1 1/2", and 2" x 4". I cut the little square out using the STITCHED SHAPES FRAMELITS and my BIG SHOT

These are the cards that the gals made to share with us at our team meeting.

Janelle shared this card that she made at Sue's card class. Sue said she followed instruction she found on Dawn Griffith's blog. Stamp set is called ANIMAL OUTING. So cute! I love this stamp set as you can probably tell by how many posts I have using this set.

The flower was punched twice with the FOUR PETAL FLOWER PUNCH

This bundle of cards was also made with the PETAL PROMENADE Designer Paper.

There is a sheet that has the floral borders in 2 different sizes. Sue used a variety of

stamps in the current catalogs to make quick and easy cards.

Kind of funny because I had cut some out too, and handed them out as a challenge for next months meeting for them to make something with it. Guess Sue has already met her challenge!!

I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.

These last 2 cards were shared by Chris, even though she could not make it to the meeting, she sent them along to share with us. She knew that we were going to be using DANDELION WISHES for our make & take so she made her samples with this super great stamp set.

This first one she made and then realized she used a retired ribbon so she made this second one using LINEN THREAD. If you like the look of the crochet lace trim best you could always use the

VERY VANILLA 1/2" LACE TRIM
