 This card was inspired by Lisa Curcio.

As "luck" would have it, I had one gold embossed Marquee Messages arrow sitting on my workstaion from some prior cards. I had been shuffling it around wondering if I should pitch it or save it.  Glad I didn't pitch it, because I simply adore this card.  I haven't had my HEY CHICK stamp set out lately, and it is also one of the FREE items you can get through Sale a bration with a qualifying purchase. I changed up the greeting on the front and added the inside by using the April 2016 Paper Pumpkin EXTRA stamp set that they included in our monthly subscription for their birthday month.  Remember I told you that Stampin' Up! was adding an extra gift in the April 2017 kit?  Well, I love the extra set that they added to the one last year!! It's My Birthday!!

Today is my birthday!!
And I want to tell you a story...
In 2012 - ON MY BIRTHDAY - I received a phone call from our son telling me the sad news that Jessica had miscarried their first baby. (We only knew about the pregnancy for a couple weeks at that point). We were so extremely sad as you all can imagine.
Thankfully the Lord blessed them with our Sweet Sawyer on July 4, 2014 (He is showing you grampa's candles.  So cute to see him smell them)

LAST YEAR - on MY BIRTHDAY - Jessica called and asked if I could take her to inter-med stating she thought she had a UTI and she needed help with Sawyer.  At this point Sawyer was still on his feeding tubes and needed to be with mom.  Jessica then told me that she was expecting and that she was fearful that she may be miscarrying again.
I could not believe it that I would get this same sad news ON MY BIRTHDAY twice.
THANKFULLY - in spite of a threatened miscarriage, Jessica did NOT miscarry and today we have our SUPER SWEET Grand Daughter Miss Lilyanna Katherine.  Lily is now 4 months old and gives us great joy.  (She looks like her daddy at this age) We love to hear her babble and her giggles thrill our heart!  God is GOOD!!

 Jessica is so good to bring the kids over so I can get in some cuddle time each week

 Lily loves her Grampa too!
