Greenery Lane

 This is the next project that we made at our weekend retreat.

We were each given a full roll of the GREENERY LANE WASHI TAPE and all the DSP was cut for us, however we had to do the die cutting of the leaves and the very cool shapes from the BEAUTIFULLY CELEBRATED DIE SET.

Coordinating colors on these cards are Pretty Peacock, Lost Lagoon, Night of Navy and Secret Sea. They also gave us a full pack of the MOODY PALETTE GLOSSY DOTS to finish everything off.our pieces were cut from. Mine ended up being a little darker than her samples.

You may even notice that I changed up what sentiments that I used on my cards vs. the samples that she provided.

Because the designer paper is somewhat variegated, it all depended on where you cut your pieces. Mine ended up a little darker than the samples that they provided.

They used the DELICATE FRAMING stamp set for their sentiments, and NATURE WALK DSP.

Masculine Cards

 Project #2 at the retreat we went to 

I have yet to add a sentiment to the top right side of this card. I thought that I would leave it empty until I was ready to use it.

A this card I added the extra square frame that was made when I cut out the square. I hated to waste it and thought it looked pretty good adding it behind the square.

I will add the sentiment to this card at the bottom when I am ready to use/send it.

A Round of Hellos

Recently I attended a stamping retreat with my friend and fellow team member, Inez. We had a wonderful time with Tina Rappe and her sister Peggy as our hosts.

When we arrived we were greeted with the two dressed in flamingo costumes! So funny! They kept us in stitches all weekend!!

And at our place settings we found these darling bags filled with all of our projects. SEVEN projects - and each project had between 4-6 cards or boxes, etc. with one of the projects being a shadow box.

The first project that we worked on was using the A ROUND of HELLOS Stamp Set. (which coordinates with the 2" and the 2-3/8" Circle Punches)

The Designer Paper they used on these cards is the FLORALS IN BLOOM.

Show Both Sides Of Your Designer Paper

The designer paper that I am using on today's card is the Painted Illusions DSP that you could have gotten for only $5 with your qualifying purchase of $75 during the month of February.

The stamp set is Greenery Lane, and the embossing folder is called SO SWIRLY which coordinates so very well with the design on the DSP.

This card was inspired by Sue Campfield
