Flowering Meadow

This card has a similar type layout like the one I featured on Tuesday's post, except that this one is horizontal where the other card was vertical. My cuts were at 1-1/8" from each end up to the score line. 

I embossed the 1" pieces of Berry Burst with a retired embossing folder. I saw this card on a live event and had to take a screen shot. I know that mine is not the same, but it's what I could do with what I had on hand and I am super happy with it. The originator of this particular card was Lisa Curcio.  I definitely made some changes, but am happy with a simpler version.

The VELVET MEADOW is so stunning with a velvety feel to the specialty paper.

Fun For Fall

I have started prepping for some Fall cards, and nothing could be cuter than this little scarecrow from FUN FOR FALL

My Friend and fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, Julie Gilson, created this card. I loved it so much that I needed to case it for my Tuesday Stampers.

I am loving the In Color Gingham Gallery DSP. It comes in all of the 2026-2028 In Colors which Include Golden Glow shown here, Barely Blush, Peaceful Pine, Hydrangea Hue & Crisp Cantaloupe.

The embossing folder used is called TEXTURED TREE RING.

The dots used are the 2026-2028 In Color Pearls. These pearls come in all of the In Colors I listed above.  I just love how Stampin' Up! coordinate everything.

Just Relax!

JUST RELAX!

Sometimes we just need to tell this to ourselves because life can get so busy. I'm no different because we are planning a trip later this month and I feel like I need to do a bunch of planning ahead for when I get home that I will have cards ready for that first Tuesday when we get home.

I pulled out my SCENIC COAST 6x6 DSP to create this card that was inspired by Laura Seki. I love her creations, but she has no blog, I find her cards on the Demonstrator Planning Place on FB which is a Stampin' Up! exclusive perk for demonstrators. This is another great reason to sign up (under me of course) to be a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and receive a discount on all of your orders.

Two different sets are used to create this card.

The chair and the word RELAX comes from RELAXING WATERSIDE. The little birds are from SUNSET COAST. I can't forget the little leaf - this was an add on die for one of the Paper Pumpkin quarters. 

Because I CASED this card just judging by sight, I wasn't exactly sure how Laura Seki did hers, but I have made this layout MANY times over the years. The dots I used are the NEUTRALS MATTE DOTS.

My colors are Highland Heather and Very Vanilla, with the leaf cut from Crumb Cake.

Floral Window Card

The majority of the time when I am in my craft room I am preparing for classes (Tuesdays Come Stamp With Me classes, retreats, specialty classes, etc) so I rarely spend time creating something just for me (for my card rack - to sell, or to send, etc.)

I saw this card from Peggy Noe, and I only had enough DSP for three cards, but I loved it and wanted to give it a try. The NATURES WALK DSP is on sale now for 15% off. Check out the PAPER SALE HERE

I did change up the small flower dies to use a retired one I had on hand since I did not have the HEIRLOOM BOUTIQUE DIES. I changed up the style of the ribbon as well making it a double bow instead of two separate bows. I didn't have the same "bling" for the centers of the flowers so I used what I had on hand.

The sentiment and the large. flowers came from FRAMED VIOLETS, but I used LINKED TOGETHER for the small flowers

The leaves are from two separate die sets: FERN & FLORA and BOUTIQUE BLOSSOMS, both from Pool Party card stock.

The EVERYDAY ARCHES DIES are cut from Lost Lagoon card stock.

Botanical Expressions

 Today's card features the BOTANICAL EXPRESSIONS DIE.

I thought that this die was so unique and I loved how this turned out.

I teamed it up with a large butterfly from BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLIES (retired) and the butterfly embossing folder.

I used my grid paper and laid the die 1 inch from the bottom of my card base (4-1/4 x 11). I added the Basic white embossed card stock that measures 4" x 2-5/8" and 4" x /4"

For the inside I added a layer of Vellum 4-1/4" x 2-1/2", but then I wanted to cover up the edges for a clean look so I added more embossed pieces 4-1/4" x 2-5/8" & 4-1/4" x 3/4"

I attached the butterfly with a dab of glue but then added two glue dots at the top of each wing, then added three Pearls to the body.

I did watch a video by Patty Bennett on different ways to use the Botanical Expressions Die.

Framed Violets Birthday Card

I think that the FRAMED VIOLETS Bundle and the VIOLET DREAMS Designer Paper is one of my all time favorites

INSIDE:

This beautiful card was inspired by TaraBeth, and I fell in love with it.

TaraBeth did not share her measurements so I figured out what I thought was best and am sharing that with you in case you also want to case this card.

Base: Barely Blush 5-1/2 x 8-1/2

Secret Sea: 5-1/16 x 3-7/8

Designer Paper (IN COLOR GINGHAM GALLERY) 4-7/8 x 3-11/16

INSIDE: Secret Sea 5-1/4 x 4

Basic White: 5-1/8 x 3-7/8

Designer Paper: (VIOLET DREAMS) 5-1/8 x 3/4

The flowers were colored in with the Barely Blush Stampin' Blends and the leaves were colored in with the Peaceful Pines Stampin' Blends.

The extra 3 leaves were die cut from Peaceful Pines card stock and the Framed Violets Dies.

The Oval and sentiment were both stamped with Secret Sea ink with the scalloped oval die cut using the Framed Violets Dies.

Just 3 little IN COLOR BUTTERFLIES add that special touch.
