Greenery Lane Washi Tape

I LOVE the EXTRAORDINARY FLORA WASHI TAPE so much, that I knew I was going to love the new GREENERY LANE WASHI TAPE.

This Washi Tape measures 3-1/2" wide, but it works perfectly in a card like this where the left side of the card front is hidden

This card was inspired by Mary Ann Cowan and was so fun to make

Mary Ann's instructions: 

The coordinating colors for the Washi Tape are Lost Lagoon, Pretty Peacock and Garden Green.

For this card I used Pretty Peacock as the accent color of card stock.

Measurements:

• Basic White Card Base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
• Basic White Car Stock 3-1/2″ x 5-1/4″- I added the Washi tape to this piece and then embossed it using the Lovely Stripes 3D Embossing Folder
• Pretty Peacock Card Stock 5-3/8″ x 5-3/8″
• Pretty Peacock  1″ x 5-3/8″ embossed using the Lovely Stripes 3D Embossing Folder
• Vellum and Basic White die cut using the Beautifully Celebrated Dies
• Basic White 3-1/2″ x 4″ – Washi Tape attached- die cut out various leaves using the Greenery Lane Dies
• Pretty Peacock and Vellum scraps Basic White 3-1/2″ x 4″ – Washi Tape attached- die cut out various leaves using the  Greenery Lane Dies

I used the FABULOUS SAYINGS stamp set that we got for our January Product of the month, and just a few Neutral Matte Dots 

The Beautifully Celebrated dies are what are used on this card and it is the February Door Prize Drawing. Place an order during February and get your name in the door prize drawing to win it.

Easter Basket of Flowers

I realize that my blog posts have been MIA for the past few days - sorry about that. I thought that I was all caught up in advance.

Now that Valentine's Day has come and gone, it't time to direct my focus to some Springtime and Easter cards. I have already been asked if I was going to feature some faith-based Easter cards at our Tuesday classes. YOU BET!! I'd my very favorite time of year!!

I cased this card from Su Mohr

Such a cute card that can be used not only for Easter, but also for a "thinking of you" Springtime card.

The Woven Textures DSP is now on the Last Chance List

The basket is filled with flowers, using the Extraordinary Flora Die to cut Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape. This fabulous Washi Tape was adhered to Basic Beige Cardstock prior to cutting. Then, a bit of glue was used to arrange the flowers in the basket, and the basket of flowers was placed on Dimensionals.

The background is Basic Beige Cardstock, cut with the largest Branching Out Die, and embossed with the Gathering Leaves Embossing Folder. This layer was glued to a Basic Beige card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.  The tiny “for you” is from a retired stamp set, A Wish For Everything. I stamped it in Crumb Cake ink on Very Vanilla Card Stock, and used the retired Best Label Punch. As a last detail, I added a Linen Thread bow.

More Valentines

Thursday night was our February Team Meeting

I reward the top 3 in sales on my team with a Stampin' Up! product that they can use in their business, and then I reward #4 & #5 in sales (as long as they meet $300 in sales for the month) with a little treat.

I saw this box by Tarabeth and thought it was very cool. However, Tarabeth did not share the how-to in her video, so I just went to figuring it out myself.

It actually went together pretty easy once I figured out the dimensions of my box. I filled these with some Valentine treats.

I plan to use this same box for my March Card Club using the EASTER BASKET BUNDLE. After I get this all figured out I will share my How-To.

This second card was inspired by Melissa. I was drawn to this card because we love hot air balloons. 

When our daughter was little, and if my parents saw a hot air balloon in the sky, they would come pick her up and "chase" it.  

At out 30th wedding anniversary I gifted my hubby with a hot air balloon ride - super fun!!

Last year our daughter and her boyfriend went to Mexico to see the Hot Air Balloon Festival (& she ended up getting a hot air balloon tattoo).

When I made this card - I made sure to make two of them so that I could send one to them and then send the second card to one of our church members who have had a rough time with surgeries, etc.

DISCLAIMER: I used a non-Stampin' Up! Valentine sentiment on the front and I created my own personal greeting for the inside.

Endless Love Double Heart Fun Fold Card

Only 2 more day until Valentine's Day! and my hubby's birthday.

This was a fun Valentine Card to make and super simple inspired by Lynn Dunn

The sentiment holds the heart on the right shut.

Quick & Easy Valentine Card

A quick and easy Valentine card

Yes, I am using some retired products, but perhaps you will still find inspiration. Perhaps you have some of these products, but perhaps you can switch things up by using the products that you do have on hand

The hearts were punched out using the Bee Builder Punch. The teeny tiny hearts were retired several years ago - I love using up my retired products.

The sentiment that I used is a Paper Pumpkin stamp. I would encourage you to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin, it is a great source to get some very handy stamps and you can also get the add-on dies that are valuable for all card making and scrapbooking opportunities. 

You can subscribe at stamping.com and I would ask that you choose me as your demonstrator.

We enjoy a fun evening once a month to assemble our paper pumpkin kits, but it is totally optional. These kids are super easy to put together with the great instructions, but you also have the option to change things up if you desire (which we do all the time)
