Waterside Retreat

Today's card is a Bridge Card.

I have made this style before, but I did follow the instructions from Jackie on YouTube for this particular card.

Jackie actually made this card using the April Paper Pumpkin kit, but because the WATERSIDE RETREAT 12x12 designer paper had images in it that coordinated with the Paper Pumpkin kit, I could adapt my card using the Designer Paper.

The chair is stamped with Pecan Pie ink onto white card stock. The Paper Pumpkin kit came with some die cut oars, but I cut mine out from the Waterside Retreat designer paper.

This might be a bit more challenging for my Tuesday stampers, but I thought I would challenge them with this card. The little bird die cuts are from Sunset Coast, and cut out using some Adhesive Sheets.

The center panel was embossed with the Exposed Brick Embossing Folder.

Jackie actually made her card into a gift card holder, but I left my as a basic card.

Silly Old Bear

I hope you aren't tired of the Silly Old Bear, Winnie the Pooh, yet.

This is a super fun fold inspired by France Martin.

How fun is this??!!

Lily of the Valley

Today I am playing with the simply gorgeous LILY OF THE VALLEY bundle/suite

This first card was totally cased from Sue Campfield. I love this technique/fun fold. I have made several versions all inspired by Sue.

Isn't this designer paper gorgeous!!

Here is a second card that I made for my Tuesday stampers

This time I was inspired by Mary Anne Cowan on YouTube. On this card I changed it up by using the Phrases & Frames set.

And I didn't stop there - I made a second card for my Tuesday stampers

This card was inspired by Mary Deatherage. A much simpler card but there is still a lot of die cutting in preparation.

Sunset Coast

Today I am playing with the very cool SUNSET COAST Bundle and the SCENIC COAST 6x6 Designer Paper

I grab most of my inspiration from Pinterest where you can find a multitude of ideas.

Card #1 was inspired directly from the Stampin' Up! samples 

Did you know that that the Stampin' Up! catalog is one of your best resources for card layouts, etc. However I did change it up by making it an anniversary card using the PHRASES & FRAMES stamp set.

Card #2 was inspired by Pinterest, but there is no link to share with you. The dies that come with this stamp set are so perfect and the paper is gorgeous. It has a glossy aspect to it. The three birds I cut using some Adhesive Sheets on some Night of Navy card stock. I also used Adhesive Sheets on the Thick White for the "sun spray". The Sunset Sparkle Sequins come in 4 different colors: Clear, Cloud Cover,  Strawberry Slush & Timid Tiger.  I used the Clear

Card #3 was inspired by Taylor Lakes on Instagram. I changed up the birthday greeting by using a non Stampin' Up! birthday greeting.

25th Anniversary Makeover Card

You may remember this card that I shared with you on my April 30 blog post. You can see that original post HERE

Such a stunning card that can be used for a wedding or for an anniversary card.

Recently I had three people request anniversary cards and I am terribly low on anniversary cards on my sale rack. I decided instead of using this card for my Tuesday stampers, that I would need to make these up for my own sales.

One of the requests was to have the card be for a 25th wedding anniversary and she wanted a pop of purple on it. 

What do you think of my makeover? I heat embossed the 25 with silver embossing powder, and I used the retired stamp set NUMBER OF YEARS. (sometimes you just need to hang onto some of these older stamps sets.

Believe it or not, this card uses 21 little Basic Rhinestone Jewels.

Sweet Old Friend Trio

Holy, Moley! I can hardly believe it! Today my hubby and I celebrate our 49th wedding anniversary!!

Happy Anniversary Babe!! 

However, I am not sharing an anniversary card - I am sharing yet another Pooh Theme.

Each month I hold a card club where we make 2 cards and 1 - 3D project - generally a box filled with goodies.

These are the projects that we made for our May card club.

I gave each of the ladies a container of the gold Bee Trinkets to add to their cards and to the cute little box.

The words "You're the Sweetest" comes from 

FILLED WITH SWEETNESS stamp set

For this box I followed the instructions by Debra Harrison, but I needed to extend it to fit the honey stick 

(that I found at a Marshall's store)

Tri Panel Card

I followed the technique from Connie Stewart, however I have seen and made cards using this technique from several talented demonstrators.

The Happy Birthday stamp comes from one of our Product of the Month stamp sets called FABULOUS SAYINGS.

Each month Stampin' Up! comes out with a new Product of the Month and it stays available until their inventory runs out.

This last card was inspired by Connie Stewart
