Still working on using up my designer paper before it is retired 

I love this daisy paper from Splendid Autumn and I think that I have been hoarding it, but now I need to use it up. You may remember this other card using the same paper that I shared with you a couple days ago.

Pretty gorgeous, right??!!

Today's card I used a retired stamp set called TRUST GOD (there are just some stamp sets that I cannot get rid of). I stamped it using Copper Clay Ink onto Basic Beige card stock and die cut it out with a MIXED LABELS die.

The leaves were die cut from the SWEET WORDS & LABELS Dies that will be available on May 5th. I cut them with Darling Duckling card stock and sponged on some Pumpkin Pie ink, then added a double Linen Thread bow.

The base is Basic Beige cut 4-1/4" x 11" scored at 5-1/2", layer a 4" x 5-1/4" Copper Clay that has been embossed with a leafy embossing folder (retired) and a 3" x 5-1/4" Designer Paper.

Spring Daffodils

Such a sweet simple card (inspired by Su Mohr)

And another option of how to use your dies from the EASTER BASKET BUNDLE without it needing to be an Easter card.

I just love seeing all the daffodils out this spring and yellow is definitely a favorite color of mine.

Base: Lemon Lime Twist

Front: Basic White: 4" x 5-1/4 & two strips 1" x 5-1/2" (you will want it to be 5-1/2" because when you emboss them with the LOVELY STRIPES Embossing Folder, it "shrinks" the card stock a bit) Just trim off the excess after you adhere it to your front.

3 Basic White squares (1-1/2") from Stylish Shapes and 3 daffodils die cut from Granny Apple Green, Darling Duckling & Crushed Curry.

What I changed up was the sentiment. This sentiment is from a Paper Pumpkin Kit. This is a great example as how important it is to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin. Splendid Autumn

I love this technique called Fractured Card.

It is super simple but packs a wow!

This particular one was a little more fussy because I cut the center square using Stylish Shapes first then layered it onto the next largest square of Gold Foil.

I know the DSP is called Splendid Autumn, but I figure flowers are flowers and can be made at any time.

The sentiment comes from Unbounded Love and a foil butterfly is cut from Sketched Butterflies dies.

Thoughtful Journey

Today I am using the THOUGHTFUL JOURNEY DSP, but I am combining it with some retired products.

I cut the opening using the Layering Diorama Dies and embossed it with the SUBTLE embossing folder. The sprig on the left comes from Thoughtful Wishes. The thoughtful greeting is from Wonderful Thoughts.
