Pretty Florals in Bloom

The best part of Springtime is when you see all the beautiful flowers pop up, then you take visit to the local nursery and see rows and rows of gorgeous blooms!

I'm actually lucky that my sister works at a greenhouse, and we can get some flowers from her as well as our tomato plants.

This card features the Florals In Bloom DSP and the Pretty Florals Dies. I chose to make this an anniversary card using the greeting from Layers of Beauty, but my Tuesday stampers know that they can change up their sentiments to whatever they need. I think this would make a lovely Mother's Day card.

This is your typical Z-Fold card... the card base is 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" scored at 2-1/8" & 4-1/4".

I cut 2 panels of DSP at 5-1/4" x 2" and the right strip is 1" x 5-1/4"

My flowers are Pretty In Pink with Strawberry Slush and Garden Green stems. It was inspired by Oksana Semenska

Beautiful Gallery

I bet you are wondering "how much of this designer paper did she buy?" Well, the answer is..."quite a bit." 

Each year I make cards for someone who orders multiple cards for her clients, and I thought this paper would make it so easy to make her cards. (I used it for last years cards)

Therefore, I had a LOT of this paper left. Not only did we use it for our mid-winter retreat, I have had a stash available to make cards for my Tuesday stampers for many weeks. LOL!!

This card was inspired by Kim Quade.

I simply changed up the sentiment so that I could use one of our new stamps called PHRASES & FRAMES. You are going to LOVE this stamp set. It was created by Susan Campfield in honor of her one million sales achievement.

It is stamped onto Basic Black card stock with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed with White embossing powder.

Kintsugi Inspiration

As I am working on using up my DSP for my Tuesday Stampers I realized that I had a lot of the beautiful KINTSUGI INSPIRATION DSP. I was able to die cut the vases and flower out using the coordinating die set, and then using up some scraps I cut the strips 2" x 3/8". 

I was inspired by a card that I saw on Pinterest, but I chose to make my card a sympathy card and used a retired label die. The Gold Flower Accents are part of the KINTSUGI collection, and these all are still available to purchase in my on line store.
