Show Both Sides Of Your Designer Paper

Tuesday, March 17, 2026

The designer paper that I am using on today's card is the Painted Illusions DSP that you could have gotten for only $5 with your qualifying purchase of $75 during the month of February.

The stamp set is Greenery Lane, and the embossing folder is called SO SWIRLY which coordinates so very well with the design on the DSP.

This card was inspired by Sue Campfield

What I changed up: I used the MOODY PALETTE DOTS instead of the Shades of Green Hexagons

Lucky Me, I've Got YOU!

Happy St. Patrick's Day, Everyone!!

I am not a "luck" kind of person, but I thought that this was a fun card for my Tuesday Stampers to make.

The large shamrock is a non Stampin' Up! stamp that I borrowed from one of my fellow team members.

The SWEETEST JAR stamp set has that jar filled with shamrocks image, and is absolutely adorable.

On cards like this I like to say, "Lucky me, I've got you" - I used this phrase a LOT when making cards for my day care kids and then my grand kiddos.

Nature Walk

Sunday, March 15, 2026

This gorgeous card uses all current Stampin' Up! products and was designed by the very talented Rachel Tessman. I believe I saw this on her Facebook live, but it has not made it to her blog as of yet (at the time I prepared this blog post)

I changed up the sentiment, using the BANNER SAYINGS stamp set and punch. I also used the Pressed Flower Motifs elements instead of the Faux Bronze Pentagons.

Nature's Symphony die was used to cut out the large leaf.

I had just a bit of the Nature Walk DSP left and this is a perfect example of using up 1" strips.

I used the dark Misty Moonlight Stampin' Blend to splash little spritzes onto the card front. A trick I learned for this is if you use your Bone Folder and tap your Stampin' Blend onto it (fairly aggressively) you get a nice splatter. Rachel uses the tip of her Blend into the cap to flick the splatters, but I find that this wrecks the tip of my Blend and they are already too expensive.

On The Horizon Anniversary

Thursday, March 12, 2026

I have seen a variety of cards similar to this on Pinterest, but no links to the actual creators, but I love it so much.

I had to dig through a variety of designer papers and dies to come up with what I was happy with for my card.

I purchased a TON of the SPLENDID AUTUMN 6x6 DSP and this particular print was challenging me, until I revisited this layout.

#1. This is a 5-1/4" square card so the front panel is 5" square.

#2. I used the very retired HEARTS COLLECTION dies to cut the heart out

#3. I stamped the Happy Anniversary using Early Espresso Ink from the (retired) stamp set ELEGANTLY SAID before I embossed it with the SUBTLE (retired) embossing folder

#4. I cut a fence from a wood grain DSP from the On The Horizon Dies as well as the grassy die which was cut from the Splendid Autumn DSP, making sure that I cut it carefully so that I had enough to  go behind the heart. The yellow(ish) floral sprig was also strategically cut from that same DSP while another sprig was cut from Brushed With Beauty DSP. The little flowers are also cut from that same DSP using the THOUGHTFUL MOMENTS Dies. I very carefully added some pearlized dots (trying to use up my retired products).

#5 this top piece was added to the base using Stampin' Dimensionals.

I am betting this will be a sell out at my Tuesday Class

Beautiful Motifs

Wednesday, March 11, 2026

I have been focusing so much on Easter cards lately that I am running short on everyday cards for my Tuesday Stampers.

The BEAUTIFUL GALLERY 6x6 Designer Paper has served me very well. The prints in this collection are stunning. I will admit that this particular print was not my favorite, however I loved that back side (which you can see on my envelope flap).

All that being said...I have used a ton of this print lately, and I love this card that was inspired by Erica Cerwin

One thing that I forgot to do was to emboss the Very Vanilla piece that was cut from the TEXTURED NOTES Die.

The "floral" pieces were cut from Calypso Coral & Pecan Pie card stock using the BEAUTIFUL MOTIFS Dies

I chose a different sentiment and chose to use the birthday greeting from FRAMED ALL AROUND.

The elements (bling) are the PRESSED FLOWER MOTIFS

My card base is 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" scored at 4-1/4" of Secret Sea

The Cloud Cover layer is 4" x 5-1/4"

The Designer Paper layer measures 4-7/8" x 5-1/8"
