One More Bug - ok - Two!

Sunday, February 8, 2026

This fun little bug card is one I made for one of the gals on my team who heads off to Florida for the winter.

The sentiment comes from THE RIGHT WORDS, and the die cuts come from BEAUTIFULLY CELEBRATED.
I love the new HEARTS OF LOVE Embossing Folder, don't you??!!
A scattering of LOW PROFILE DOTS finish it off.
The dies from SWEET BUGS cut out the images from the designer paper, but I didn't purchase the stamp set/bundle so I fussy cut this little guy out with no problem.
This card was inspired by Tracy Bradley

This second card was made for my hubby for his birthday. He actually has a Valentine's Day birthday. (which kind of messes with things to be honest)
We will celebrate 49 years this June and he still makes my heart buzz!!
This card was inspired by Su Mohr
The stamp set for the sentiment is from BEE MY VALENTINE
Here are the instructions that Su shared:

I began with a card base of Mossy Meadow, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, scored on the long side, 3″, 6″, and 7 1/4″, and folded. The top piece is 3″ X 8 1/2″, scored on the long side at 4 1/4″, and folded in half.
After cutting and folding, I glued Sweet As A Bug Designer Paper to the front of the card base: 5 1/4″ X 2 3/4″ and 5 1/4″ X 1″.  Then, I glued a different pattern of Cute As A Bug Designer Paper to the front of the top piece, 2/3/4″ X 4″. When gluing the top piece to the card base, I glued only the portion that touches the card base, while laying folded, and flat, to insure the edges were even. I also added Basic White Cardstock to the inside, 5 1/4″ X 2 3/4″, for a personal message.

“You make my heart buzz” is from the Be Mine Stamp Set, stamped in Mossy Meadow Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Then, I used an Endless Love Die for cutting the heart. The flowers and bee were cut from Cute As A Bug DSP with Sweet Bugs Dies, and all were attached with Dimensionals. I like the way the flowers fit the shape of the heart. For extra pizazz, I added three Ladybug Epoxy Shapes. Can you find the third one, hidden on a leaf?

FOR EVERY ORDER PLACED IN FEBRUARY, I WILL PUT YOUR NAME INTO A DRAWING AND THE WINNER WILL RECEIVE THE BEAUTIFULLY CELEBRATED BUNDLE (A $53 VALUE)

I LOVE THESE DIES ESPECIALLY, AND THOSE CORNER DIES ARE SO PERFECT FOR CARD MAKING AND SCRAPBOOKING

Made With Love

Thursday, February 5, 2026

Valentine's Day is creeping up on us fast! And I probably send out more Valentine's Cards than the average person, so I have been gathering ideas from various talented demonstrators and making a variety of Valentine's to send out to the widows and shut-ins from church. This card was inspired by Brian King

I changed up my version by making it a basic card and not a fun fold card. I also used Real Red card stock instead of Poppy Parade.

FOR EVERY ORDER PLACED IN FEBRUARY, I WILL PUT YOUR NAME INTO A DRAWING AND THE WINNER WILL RECEIVE THE BEAUTIFULLY CELEBRATED BUNDLE (A $53 VALUE)

Endless Love Flip Flap Shaker Card

Wednesday, February 4, 2026

Have you ever thought to use the FLIP FLAP ENVELOPES for your cards instead of just for scrapbooking?

I thought this was a brilliant idea for a shaker card using the 3x3 FLIP FLAP ENVELOPES.

I am not sure who came up with this idea, I just took some screen shots and failed to document who created it. I had to figure the measurements by the photos

I just loved the idea of using the Flip Flap Envelopes so I put my mind to it to figure it out
Base: Real Red 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" scored at 4-1/4 then cut 2-1/8" off one side
Poppy Parade 5-1/4" x 1-7/8"
Made With Love Designer Paper 5" x 1-5/8"  AND 4" x 5-1/4" for the inside.
Bubble Bath 3-1/4" x 3-1/4"
Basic White 3" x 3" (x2)
3" x 3" Flip Flap Envelope
Bubble Bath Ribbon (approx 34")
Loose Valentines Assortment
Tear 'n Tape
Endless Love Stamp Set

The trickiest part of this card is sealing the Flip Flap Envelope with some Tear 'n Tape after putting some Loose Valentines Assortment in it.
Fill and seal the Flip Flap Envelope then adhere it to the card base. Adhere the designer paper over it. Wrap the ribbon around the Flip flap card twice and then tie a bow.

FOR EVERY ORDER PLACED IN FEBRUARY, I WILL PUT YOUR NAME INTO A DRAWING AND THE WINNER WILL RECEIVE THE BEAUTIFULLY CELEBRATED BUNDLE (A $53 VALUE)

Non Traditional Valentine's Card

Tuesday, February 3, 2026

I am the lucky girl who has three wonderful sisters! (I'm the "baby")

When I saw this quilt card from Mary Fish I wanted to give it a try. It's different than some others that I have made.

Sister #2 loves to quilt so I wanted to make this card for her.

There is no link to Mary's blog post to give you the instructions in case you want to give this a try so I thought that I would share the instructions that she shared.

measure & cut (from bottom to top):

card base:

  • Basic White Thick Cardstock: 5 x 10, scored at 5

layers (before die-cutting):

  • Nature Walk Designer Series Paper: 4 1/2 x 4 1/2
  • Basic White Thick Cardstock: 4 3/16 x 4 3/16
  • Basic White Thick Cardstock: 5 x 5 (for die-cutting)
  • Nature Walk Designer Series Paper: 2 1/4 x 1 1/2 (of 4 designs)
  • Basic White Cardstock: 2 x 1/2 (sentiment)
  • stamp: the sentiment of your choice. I used the LOVE YOU from LIFETIME OF LOVE. (Mary made her's a thank you)
  • crop, cut, assemble, adhere & embellish:
    • Burnish the fold of the card base with a Bone Folder.
    • Adhere the Designer Series Paper to the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
    • Use a Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini) to crop the Basic White Cardstock with the Stylish Shapes 1-1/16 square die (qty 16). (this is the smallest square)
    • Use a Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini) to crop the Designer Series Paper with the Stylish Shapes 1-1/16 square die (qty 2 of each design).
    • Adhere the Basic White squares to the 4 3/16 square of Basic White with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. (I used Adhesive Sheets)
    • Use a Paper Trimmer to cut each square of Designer Series Paper in half diagonally. Adhere to the Basic White squares as shown with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. (I used Adhesive Sheets)
    • Flag the right side of the sentiment with Paper Snips and punch a hole on the left side. (I used a die cut from ENDLESS LOVE)
    • Double wrap the quilt layer with White Baker's Twine, thread through the hole of the sentiment and secure with a bow. Adhere to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
    • What I forgot: I forgot to add a little bling. There are no Pretty Peacock embellishments but the MOODY PALLET DOTS have Secret Sea which works perfectly.
My sister loved it and I didn't tell her that I forgot the bling.

FOR EVERY ORDER PLACED IN FEBRUARY, I WILL PUT YOUR NAME INTO A DRAWING AND THE WINNER WILL RECEIVE THE BEAUTIFULLY CELEBRATED BUNDLE (A $53 VALUE)

Valentine's Card For Our Grandson

Monday, February 2, 2026

I chose this card for our adult grandson for Valentine's Day

It features the gorgeous NATURE WALK Designer Paper and some gold foil. I was inspired by Peggy Noe

What I changed up... the die I used for the sentiment comes from WORDS OF BEAUTY, and I used a white ribbon instead of the Balmy Blue that Peggy used.

Sometimes it is hard to come up with cards appropriate for your 20-something grandkids but when I saw this sample I thought it would be prefect for Tyler.
