In Color Switch

TOMORROW!! Tomorrow starts the new May - August Catalog!! This is always such an exciting time of the year for us demonstrators. (And you too) It's so fun to start playing with some new products and the new In-Colors - YEAH!! 

The retiring in colors...

What is my favorite? Well, all I can say is that the three colors that I have played with so far are Golden Glow (matches perfect for all my Winnie the Pooh cards), Hydrangea Hue, and Barely Blush.

The changes that Stampin' Up! has made regarding retiring products is this... instead of automatically discontinuing everything on the retired list, they all go into the Last Chance List until all supplies are gone. 

Therefore...the card that I am sharing to day uses the BEAUTIFUL GALLERY 6x6 DSP, which you have seen me use multiple times, is technically "retired", but will be on the Last Chance List until supplies are gone.

Sentimental Sunday

It has been one year since our sweet Everleigh Hope was ushered into the arms of Jesus without ever taking a single breath here on earth.

How can you miss someone so much when you never even had a chance to meet them? Our hearts still ache for the grand daughter we will never know, but we have the confidence that we will meet her someday in heaven.

When I think of her, I picture her walking with Jesus, totally whole.

Our children are doing well, but she is always in their thoughts. Jeff is taking off work a day so that they can celebrate Everleigh's birthday together as a family. Lily & Mercy said that for sure they needed to bake cupcakes.

I made this card for them in memory of Everleigh Hope

They had pink bunny (stuffy) that they called Everleigh's bunny so I thought that the cute little bunny from Notes Of Spring would be a perfect fit. This card was inspired by Angie and she used the little deer from that same stamp set.

Also used Scalloped Blooms Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Extraordinary Flora Stamp Set, Cute As A Bug Designer Paper.

So this is what is on my heart today as we remember this difficult time that we walked through one year ago.

Forever Florals

The FOREVER FLORALS bundle has been so much fun to play with.

This card could be a wedding card or an anniversary card.

Change up the sentiment and you can make it anything you want!

This was inspired by one I saw on Facebook. I change up the Soft Sea Foam pieces by using the large floral die instead of a multitude of single leaf dies.

The base is from LUNAR LUSTER which is much lighter weight than our regular card stock, so I used the thick white card stock for inside and the detailed piece on the front.

I used Versa Mark and Copper Embossing Powder for the sentiment, and yes, there is a BUNCH of tiny rhinestones. I love how it turned out and I am sure my Tuesday stampers will love it as well.

Paper Pumpkin

I think that I have gotten more milage out of the March Paper Pumpkin kit than any others 

Colors I used: I stamped the images with Secret Sea and colored it in with Summer Splash, Peach Pie, Pretty Peacock. The hummingbird was included in the Paper Pumpkin kit. The "bling" is from the 2024-2025 in color gems.

This is considered an easel card.

I ran out of the card bases that had somewhat of a textured look so I just used Basic White and then after I stamped the images and colored them in, I ran it through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine with my retired embossing folder called SUBTLE.

What I changed up: I used a die from SWEET WORDS & LABELS to cut out the happy birthday which is from SIMPLY SAID stamp set.
