Another Special Order Card for the President of the Coffee Club!!  (He's only 14 years old!  It's a fun family thing I guess)

I never purchased the PERFECT BLEND stamp set but I did get it when My Digital Studio was still up and running, so instead of borrowing the stamp set from a friend I just printed it out.  One thing nice is that I could add the Happy Birthday to the labels right there on MDS.  I added splashes from the stamp set GORGEOUS GRUNGE and the coffee stain from TIMELESS TEXTURES.  I even added 3 coffee beans to make it authentic.

Special Order

Another special Request for a coffee themed Christmas card.  I'm not sure what I would do without the resource of Stampin' Connection when I need to look up special requests like this one.  This one was inspired by Krystal DeLeeuw

I teamed up some current Designer Paper (Trim the Tree) and some retired Designer Paper along with the stamp sets Sassy Salutations and Perfect Blend.  I liked it so much that I made several more for my coffee loving friends.

Here is a card I made last week using the Core'dinations Sandable Paper (Brights in this case). I cased this card from Brandy Cox who does a great tutorial on how to make the coffee paper to make your card smell just like fresh brewed coffee!!

I made a bunch of these cards to give to our youth pastor who has taken a call to a church in Chicago and we will really miss him.  Last Friday night he gave a final concert for the church and a fundraiser for his mission.  As he was singing the songs of many amazing Christian artists (and did a fabulous job), I kept thinking this is no different than how I showcase all these amazing Stampin' Up! demonstrators. Occasionally people write their own songs but never all of the ones they sing.  I occasionally design my own card but I love to share some favorites from other crafty people.  It really made me feel so much better knowing it is all good!!

And how about this next one that we made at last weeks COME STAMP WITH ME TUESAY CLASS - I think it is one of my favorites from the stamp set Petal Parade.  This was stamped on the Note Cards which come with 20 note cards and envelopes for only $5.95.  Super great deal!  They are a little smaller than the standard 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inch card that I normally make but they are still mail-able and perfect for thank you's or in this case to just say "HI".  The 'Hello' comes from the stamp set FOUR YOU and can be found in the regular catalog.

Can You Spot Henry?

Dale and I had such a wonderful time on our vacation visiting with his brother and sister-in-law.  Sherry is more like a sister though and we had such fun together.  I may like Henry Elephants but Sherry LOVES rabbits!  They are scattered ALL over their beautiful home.  Henry was feeling rather playful one day so see if you can spot him amongst all the bunnies...

Sherry also had MANY candy dishes out to treat us.  Dale and Henry like the Peanut M and M's the best.

We were treated like a King and Queen during our stay.  We tried to help out but Sherry would shoo us away.  We snuck in some specials for them, like making our LAZY EGGS for breakfast a couple times, and grilling some burgers.  I had purchased a gift card to Olive Gardens as a thank you, but I forgot to grab one of my gift card holders.  What will I do?  Sweet! I was able to use one of the swaps from Leadership to put the gift card in!!  I took a picture, but forgot to document the name of the demonstrator who I swapped with.  So if this happens to be your Leadership Swap please let me know so I can give you the credit!!

She used the Envelope Liners Framelits to make the gift card and the PERFECT BLEND stamp set.  Very Cute! and I was thrilled to have a gift card holder in my swaps.  I might just consider this myself next time!!

Perfect Blend Engagement

Recently one of the college age girls from our church got engaged!!  WOOT WOOT!! Congratulations Lyndsey and Jason!  Jason proposed at their favorite coffee shop surrounded by their dearest friends.

The Power of Two

For today's card (inspired by Brian King) is kind of a continuation of yesterday's theme when I shared that my parents celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary.

The stamp set YIPPEE-SKIPPEE #131344 is only $14.95 in the clear mount and #131341 is only $18.95 in the wood mount.

The ABC-123 Sketch Alphabet and Numbers #130565 is $19.95 only available in clear mount, but that is exactly what you will want when placing the letters so you can see right where you are stamping them - perfect!!

I still do not own the Yippee-Skippee stamp set, but I do have it in My Digital Studio so I printed it out for this card.  If I did own this set I would have used Versa Mark and White Embossing Powder.  I love having the variety to work with.
