Same Layout, 2 Different Cards

I loved this layout using the WILD ABOUT YOU Designer Paper Stack, combining the Black and White with the Melon Mambo - they are so striking together. (I didn't document who I cased this from so if it is yours please let me know so I can give you credit)

While I was at it I thought I would try using some of my retired Designer Paper, and using the same layout this is what I came up with.  Perfect for a summertime birthday.

Happy Father’s Day!

I hope all the wonderful fathers out there have an extra special day today!  I am so thankful to still have my own father (aka Daddy) with me.   He is (was) an avid golfer so I thought he would like this card I made from our retired stamp set “And Many Mower.”


I am so glad that the Baja Blue in this designer paper is coming back.

New Home

Our youngest son, Joey, has purchased his first home, (keep scrolling down for photos of his new house) taking advantage of the first time homeowner tax credit made available to him. He has been living away from home for over four years now in a rental unit with our other son, Jeff, so now, after faithfully saving his money he was ready to have a home of his own. Congratulations Joey!! Now you get to mow your own yard!!

We are very Happy for you and proud that you worked so hard to save up for this exciting day!!

Happy Birthday to my Sweetie!

Today is my hubby’s 53rd Birthday!! Happy Birthday Sweetie!!! This is the card I made for him this year… Sometimes I think it must be tough having your birthday on Valentine’s Day because which one do you celebrate? and does the birthday boy honor his wife on Valentine’s Day because that would take away from celebrating his birthday. This has been a challenge, but I do think he likes it when people say “oh, a Valentine baby” and then he can say “that’s why I’m so sweet.” I hope you have the BEST birthday EVER Sweetie!!
