He is Risen! He is Risen indeed!! Hope you all are having a Blessed Easter, celebrating our RISEN Lord!!
This will be my final Easter card to post - I hope you have been inspired to make some of your own.
Once again I used the EASTER BLESSINGS (retired) stamp set and CROSSES OF HOPE (also retired) and I teamed them up with the stamp set PETITE PETALS. Some of the flowers are stamped directly onto the cardstock and some are popped up. I used the Bird Builder Punch for the leaves and some tiny pearls to accent the flower centers.
Colors: Elegant Eggplant and Pink Pirouette
Inspired by: Melissa Davies
Have a Blessed Easter!

Easter Blessings
Wednesday, March 5, 2014
Getting a start on Easter Cards for the Craft Sale on Saturday as well as stocking up the Used To Be New Consignment Shop.
I love combining the new stamps PETITE PETALS with some of my favorite retired stamps (CROSSES OF HOPE and EASTER BLESSINGS) - inspired by Melissa Davies
The colors I used are Elegant Eggplant and Blushing Bride with some Pear Pizzazz leaves punched from the Bird Builder Punch. Adding the little pearls and popping up the cross and 3 of the flowers gives it that perfect dimension.

The church where my Aunt and Cousin attend had an ordination service for their Assistant Pastor yesterday. I was honored to be asked to make the cakes for the celebration.
Look at all those little chocolate crosses! Each one is adorned with a flower and leaf.
This last one was a German Chocolate for Pastor Will to take home with him.
Not only did they ask me to make his cakes but they wanted to give him a special card. One for my Aunt to give and one for my cousin to give...

Yeah!! the first full 24 hours of Spring today, and here in Michigan we have a new pile of snow, but that doesn't defeat me, I will be wearing my WHITE Capri pants today as I usher in Spring.
I am sharing 2 cards with you today, both using the stamp set CROSSES OF HOPE and ELEMENTS OF STYLE. The TULIP BORDER EMBOSSING FOLDER gives each card an elegant touch. These cards were inspired by Terri Isferding and Krystal DeLeeuw. I chose to decorate the envelopes with ink and paper, making the giving of a beautiful card even more special.
