You Rock

Thursday, July 17, 2014
This is the third and final Swap Card that I brought with me to Convention.
This idea popped in my head as soon as I saw the YOU ROCK stamp set in the new catalog.

I had my hubby in mind when I made this card because I would rather to NOTHING with him that to do SOMETHING with anyone else - HOWEVER - he is not with me on this trip to Convention in Utah. A very rare occasion when don't do something together.  Love ya, Babe!  See you on Sunday!

I used the YOU ROCK Stamp Set and FROM MY HEART
The colors are Island Indigo and Rose Red
I love the new shape of the small punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack
I embossed the image with the WOODGRAIN embossing folder because rocking chairs are made from wood and it just looked too plain without some embossing.

I hope to come home with a lot of great ideas to share with you all.

Thanks for stopping by!

“J” Term part II

Wednesday, January 6, 2010

Tomorrow is the big day for my first “J” Term class. I’m excited to meet all the girls and have fun teaching them something that I truely enjoy doing. Sending cards is such a lost art what with emailing, texting and Facebook out there at the tips or our fingers, but it just seems to mean so much more when you get a card from someone who took time to make it themselves.

Here are two more cards that we will be making in tomorrows class…

4

CS: Cameo Coral, Barely Banana, WW

INK: Versa Mark, Cameo Coral, Certainly Celery, Barely Banana

3 Freedom Schools are big into soccer so I thought a soccer themed card was in order.

Saturday, December 19, 2009
We had so much fun at this weeks STAMP 10 classes!!! And we had a FULL house with four new ladies joining us. I just can't thank you all enough for making these evenings so wonderful. How surprised was I when Bev (aka Linda - tehe) brought me these yummy smelling candles by Home Interiors. Since I wasn't planning to make pumpkin pie this year I think I will have to burn the pumpkin scented candle on Christmas. Thank you Bev!!

Here are some more of the cards we made in this week classes:First things first - Credit for this card came from Dawn Griffiths blog. Her link is on the right side of my blog and you can click on that to access her blog. I find so MANY wonderful things from her site - and our upline, Glenda, has met her at Conventions so that is WAY COOL!

INK: Old Olive, Real Red stamp pads and markers
Accessories: Gold or Silver Elastic Cording, Ornament Punch, sticky jewels and pearls (local craft store), Trio Flower Punch, Boho Blossoms Punch, 3/4" Punch

This card idea came from the Stampin' Up! Demontrator Site. Another great reason to be a demonstrator is that they give us 6 new ideas every day. The contributing demonstrator for this card is Sharon Base.

Notice all the sparkles on these cards… the ladies went home looking FABULOUS!! with all the sparkles over their hands, face and clothing! We all got a great chuckle out of that.
