Door Hangers

Our second team challenge was the Door Hanger Box that Sue shared at our February Team meeting

It was so cute that I issued another team meeting challenge for everyone to make up a Door Hanger box, and to fill it up with goodies and then we would do a swap amongst us who participated in the challenge.

This is the first photo shared from our team member in Alaska. Vicki said that she and her friend were going to make up several of these for their kids and grandkids, and fill them up with some Easter candies. What a great idea!

Inez shared some boxes that she and her daughter, Susan (another team member), made during her trip to Arizona 

And Susan sent back this Arizona themed box just for me! I feel so honored! And the Arizona gummies were delicious! The second box is the one I got in the swap, filled with teas and tissue and a great feel better box.

Inez also filled her box with get well items using the Tea Boutique bundle. Marlane filled her box with handcrafted flowers, and Rochelle fill her box with some chocolate covered coffee beans.

What a fun challenge, but once again I wish more of the team would participate in the challenges.

Retiring Favorites

Along with last weeks weekly challenge I decided that

Each day I would make a card from a retiring stamp set

These 2 are from BORN TO SHINE - I made these for our grand daughter who is really missing her dance classes and I had made these to give her at her competitions and recital

I was quite surprised when they did not carry over the CLUBHOUSE bundle

I am in a Tutorial Medley Face Book Group and this one was designed by Janet Goshorn. 

Everyone who places an order with me on any given month will receive that months tutorials for FREE. Just my way of saying thank you.  There are 30-35 in our group and that is a LOT of tutorial inspiration!

This was a Mother's day card that I made last year, but this year I offered it for sale on facebook so I was making more this year. Using the TEA TOGETHER Stamp Set and Dies

This sweet card is using the NEW WONDERS Hostess Exclusive Stamp Set. I just love that little fairy girl.

 This card is good for a laugh and uses the YOUNG AT HEART Stamp Set

This darling card was featured on our Tutorial Medley FB group by Melissa Davies. The flowers and umbrellas were cut out from Designer Paper. The stamp set is WELCOME EASTER but I think it is adorable for a baby shower.

ENJOY LIFE is the stamp set for the sentiment, but the SEASONAL LAYERS FRAMELITS DIES are rating with this cute Adirondack chair.

PEDAL TO THE METAL Stamp Set was in the Mini Catalog and I am sad that this one did not carry over. It is so great for teens. The banners I used from BIRTHDAY BONANZA and the Embossing Folder was a freebee in the Sale A Bration brochure.

THIS LITTLE PIGGY has gotten a lot of attention with the whole Covid-19 thing going on.
Some of these could easily be repeats on my blog, but when you find something really cute you want to share it. Maybe these cards will encourage you to purchase the stamp sets featured before it is too late. I cannot imagine parting with any of these stamp sets.

Covid-19 Cards

Some people are so creative and I always wish that I would come up with these clever ideas first.
Lorri Heiling - a Stampin' Up! demonstrator in Arizona made this darling card and I just HAD to make some too.

I have a sweet friend who made masks for us (including my dad) and I wanted to send her one of these cards as a thank you. I also sent it to another friend who placed an order with me on line. I really appreciate every order that comes in, especially during this time when we cannot hold classes in our homes.

I saw some great ideas on Pinterest for putting a little humor in the whole cover-19 issue (even though it is not a joking matter). Sometimes we just need to have a smile. I made this next card for my sister who lives in Arizona, and in fact, it is her birthday today!!  Happy Birthday Sweet Sister!!

10 Weeks Until Gracie's 13th Birthday!

This is a picture of Gracie the summer before she turned 3.
I had to share this picture with you because Gracie just loved this little halter style dress that she is wearing. It was a little big on her because she was such a little peanut (and still is).  When Julie would ask Gracie what she wanted to wear, Gracie would say "Fruit Salad" because this little dress had all the fruits on it.

Gracie still LOVES her fruit and would eat it primarily for all her meals.

Raspberries are especially her favorites - so guess what her birthday treat is this week?
The cute little tag was made using the THIS LITTLE PIGGY Stamp Set and it makes me think of the ribbons that are handed out at the fair, and this is fair week here in Hudsonville. I love the opportunity to judge the 4-H Still entries during fair week. I can't even count how many hog albums that I judge. In fact Friday night and today we are judging at the fair and Gracie is with us and helping out with little Katy since she is too young to leave alone that long.

This Little Piggy Treats
