Sometimes it can be a challenge when you are asked for a special order card, but recently I was asked to make two of them for some ladies at church.

This first card was for a 90th birthday celebration. they said he loved music and feeding the birds. SHEET MUSIC Background Stamp to the rescue along with PETAL PALETTE for the bird and leaves. I added the 90 in the inside using a retired stamp bundle NUMBER OF YEARS.

The second request was for a Mother's Day card for her sister, asking that I incorporate a cardinal onto the card in memory of their mother who passed away last year. I had to use a couple retired items on this card (ALL HOLIDAY'S stamp set and the BIRD BUILDER PUNCH). Cardinals really make me think Christmas so it was more of a challenge for me.
I'm happy that they were happy!

Sentimental Sunday

My Sentimental Sunday Post for today is the baby shower card that I made for one of day care kids from years past.
When I get to attend events like this and spend time with these kids that I love so much, it really makes me feel old.

I just love playing with my STAMPARATUS! It is so perfect for lining up these 2-3 step stamps. I love this cute little bunny from the SWEET LITTLE SOMETHING Stamp Set found in the Occasions Catalog

I love to have the chance to acknowledge my team members who help out and this month was no exception.

These are the bookmarks that I made for the ones who came to the Open House Work Night. I never could have had enough samples, especially the variety of samples, that we had at the Open House last month without their help.

Stamp Sets: Painted Harvest, Sheet Music

I stamped 3 of the sunflowers onto Sticky notes, then used then used them as a mask for adding the Sheet Music Background Stamp.
These beauties were inspired by Nina Janssen (no blog)

Then for the ones who helped at the actual Open House I gave them the Faceted Gems in Clear and Gold. I appreciate my entire team so very much!! I couldn't do what I love without their love and support.
