Halloween Cards

Thursday, October 7, 2021

I am not a huge Halloween gal, however I still purchase candy and enjoy seeing the kids dress up.

I had a request to have Halloween cards out for my National Card Making Day on October 2nd so I dug out some old sets to create these two cards

These two were a big hit and sold out completely on that day.

This is the HOME SWEET HOME stamp set and dies

And this one is from TEE HEE HEE. I used the curve stamp from ALL FOR BABY to create my clothes line.

Post Halloween Cards

Friday, November 4, 2016
I know it isn't Halloween anymore but I just wanted to share two more cards I made for a couple friends.  Didn't want to spoil their surprise by posting it sooner.
I pulled out some old, but loved, stamp sets to make these that were inspired by Lynn Starzl.

And here is a darling topper for some Sparkling White Grape Juice! A special treat for my friend who celebrates her birthday on Halloween.
STAMPS: Tee-Hee, Sassy Salutaions, Hand Penned Holidays, Wicked Cool
PAPER: Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black, Whisper White, Rich Razzleberry
INK: Momento Black, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry
Accessories: Basic Rhinestones (and Sharpie Markers to color them), 1" Circle punch, Sponges, Black Satin Ribbon, Border Punches
Now I know why I hang on to so much product!
I hope you all had a great Halloween!

Week 2 of treating my friend Melissa for her birth-month.  This is the card that I made for her that was Inspired by Pam Steckman
It was perfect because Melissa's favorite colors are Purple and Orange.
Here are her other treats...
More Chocolate cupcakes with cream cheese icing but this time I molded chocolate bats to stick on top.  A Halloween goblet filled with candy too!
Want to see the supplies that I used on the card? So glad you asked!!
Thanks for stopping by!

If The Hat Fits!

Thursday, October 2, 2014
October is the birth-month for my friend, Melissa.  You might remember her as "the kitchen fairy." She LOVES Halloween so it is fun to gift her during her birth-month. Yesterday I popped over with her first gift.  When she saw the cupcakes she said "ooohhh, breakfast!"  She KNOWS that I will make hers chocolate with cream cheese frosting!!
and this cute little box - what could it be?
The lid says "Count Your Blessings"
A blown glass pumpkin!  Very Elegant - this picture does not do it justice
And this is the card that I gave her (inspired by Lyn Kolcun)
I love how she made the house come to life with facial features and a hat.  The house was stamped on Baked Brown Sugar with Versa Mark and heat embossed with Early Espresso Embossing Powder.  I used various Blendabilities markers to shade the house and the bricks.  The witches had was stamped on Very Vanilla and cut out.  The broom was stamped on Baked Brown Sugar and cut out. Oval framelits made up the path etc with Basic Black, Daffodil Delight and Garden Green onto Soft Sky and backed in Whisper White.
Want to get your hands on some of this fabulous cardstock?  Today is day 2 of a 6 day Stamp, Stock and Save sale so you still have time to get what you need in paper, ink, envelopes, and even select stamps.  Click HERE to see the original post for the details
