Textured Floral Wreath

Another TEXTURED FLORAL card - this time it is made in the form of a wreath

Inspired by Cathy

Flowers are stamped in Moody Mauve and Bubble Bath, leaves are stamped in Mossy Meadow.

The die set comes with two varieties of sprigs so I cut the one from Mossy Meadow and the other one from Crumb cake. I cut them apart and added the pieces where I thought they looked best. Not sure how Cathy did hers, but this is what worked best for me.

TIP: Stamp the words first them build up the wreath around them.

Textured Floral

You'd think that I would be sharing more Christmas cards since we are only 2 days away from Christmas, but I am sharing some cards, instead, that my Tuesday stampers will be making after the first of the year. After all, it is too late to get your Christmas cards out for this year!!

Today's card was inspired by Brandy. 

It looks like I am thinking spring already - YUP! always a season ahead.

Colors used: Flirty Flamingo, Peach Pie, Daffodil Delight and Mossy Meadow.

I used the new (coming soon) Purple Adhesive Backed Sequins that are FREE during Sale a bratiom (January 7-February 28) with.a qualifying order. 

The Deckled Rectangles went on the Last Chance List and I think they were one of the first things to go unavailable. - Oh well, I will use them for my Tuesday Stampers anyway.

Usually when they discontinue an item like this, they come out with something comparable.  Hope so!!

Textured Florals

This is the July In-Color Card that I made for the gals who joined my In Color Club.

The color for this month is Wild Wheat and I was struggling with how to make a cute card with that color. I stumbled on this layout by Gail Ellis and then changed up the colors, the embossing and the sprig type die. (I used TEXTURED FLORAL DIES). I wanted to keep the card made using all current products.

The second color is Moody Mauve, but they will get the Moody Mauve in color products next month.

What I changed up: the sentiment - I chose the TEXTURED FLORAL Stamp Set. The sentiment was heat embossed with white onto AZURE AFTERNOON card stock (a new color to our lineup)
