What is your favorite day of the week?  
Sundays, of course, are great! We get to worship our Savior with fellow believers.
Monday's are great - it is my hubby's day off, so it is fun having him around.  During the summer months we get to have Tyler and Gracie on Mondays so that is fun too!  and Once a month on Monday's I have Stamp a Stack Class.
Tuesday's - now Tuesdays are the best! I open my home up for you all to come stamp with me and I enjoy the lively conversations with all the ladies who join me.  Once a month on Tuesday I get to meet with my team of Christi's Creative Crew - a great group of ladies that I am privileged to call my team. And once a month on Tuesday I have Projects Class
Thursday's are often a day to catch up on some errands, maybe some grocery shopping and I get to spend time with my Mama and take her swimming for water aerobics.  Sometimes I fit my workshops into an empty Thursday.
Friday's many times I get to work on my projects, some times bake cakes, sometimes just catch my breath.
Saturday's I get to spend with my hubby again.  Not that we spend every waking moment together but it is just nice having him home.  Once a month on Saturday I have a Stamp a Stack class!  ALWAYS FUN! During this time of year we are usually very busy with craft sales.
Did I miss WEDNESDAY?!  I would never miss Wednesday!  Wednesday is MOVIE DAY with my pal, Jackie!  and Jackie just had a birthday!  The perfect gift - a gift card for the movies!!

She loved it!!  M&M's and a mint along with the gift card.  What movie did we see yesterday?  Well, yesterday we forfeited our movie because instead we went to see the play THE GREAT GATSBY at our local Civic Theater after enjoying dinner out.

Guess the movie gift card will wait a week!

Sweet Saturday

Today is NOT just Valentine's Day - It is also my Sweethearts birthday!  So for my Sweet Saturday post I wanted to share with you the card that I made for for my Honey that was inspired by Donna Wicks.   I thought it was perfect because he sure does love his coffee!  I even put a Starbucks gift card inside.

Punch Art Class

Ladies I am having another PUNCH ART CLASS - this month's theme of my Projects Class.

The cute little cow punch art (inspired by a board I saw at Leadership some time ago so I do not know who to give the credit to) was in honor of our home towns Community Fair this week.  I was one of the 4-H judges and I judged several notebooks of kids who were showing their cows this week.
The Elephant...well that needs no explanation because if you watch my blog you know I have a thing for elephants ever since the stamp set (now retired) HENRY SAYS was featured in an Occasions Catalog. He was inspired by Kirsteen Gill who actually created hers using My Digital Studio.  Great job, but I wanted more of a 3-D effect (not all flat to the page).
The Witch was inspired by Patty Bennett some time ago and yes, I am using some retired punches and framelits for these cards.  I tried my best to find alternatives but just couldn't be satisfied with a replacement.  I figured that Halloween is coming up soon so I thought this would be the perfect time to feature her.  I added 2 tickets from the THAT'S THE TICKET stamp set giving it a feel for the production WICKED.  The ladies who come to this class are free to choose from any of my stamps current or retired if they do not want to have the tickets there.

Calling All Heroes

When this NEW Photopolymer stamp set came out called CALLING ALL HEROES, I wasn't sure I was going to buy it because I am more of a Superman Hero kind of girl, but our (former-sigh) Youth Pastor has taken a call to a ministry in the Chicago area, and I thought that the city sky line could be any big city like Chicago or New York, etc.  It has only been a month or so but I miss seeing them around church so I decided to play with my new stamp set as soon as it arrived.  I took some tips from Stampin' Connection but this is truly my own design.

 BUT - while I was on Stampin' Connection I did see these two other designs and since I was playing with my CALLING ALL HEROES stamp set I thought I should just make up some extras for the store and for my own card sending.  Hoping my little nephews will like the super hero theme to their birthday cards.

And this one was inspired by Justin Krieger

Happy Birthday Tyler!

Today is our grandson, Tyler's, 11th birthday!  Happy Birthday Tyler!!

You wouldn't have to be around Tyler very long before you found out his favorite food is popcorn so when I saw this tutorial by Lorri Heiling I knew I had to make it up for Tyler's birthday card.

 Then I got to thinking it would make a great gift card holder for a teacher at the end of the school year complete with a gift card to the local Cinema.  You know how hard it is to come up with a gift for a guy teacher, but I love to go to the movies so I think this would be perfect for either guys or gals!  Thanks Lorri for an easy tutorial
