A Heartfelt Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day!

I just think that this sweet little girl is so precious that I had to create a card for Valentines Day. I know that this stamp set is no longer available, but I couldn't miss a chance to share it with you.

This card was inspired by Laura Mackie from the UK

What I changed up:

The size! I wanted it to be the standard A2 card size that will fit in our Medium White envelopes. To get the variegated coloring on the "LOVE" I simply cut the PLAYFUL ALPHABET Dies out with the Basic White card stock and then added color by sponging the Rococo Rose ink onto it.

Team Shares

Not only did we have a team swap at out last meeting, we like to share the projects that we have made since we've seen each other.

Inez is in an online club and they were tasked to make a slim line card. This is the card that she received and the smaller one she called her "bonus" card. - so cute - great job! Stamp Set: WOODLAND WONDER

Pam shared this card from HAND PENNED PETALS

And she also shared tis golfers card

We were excited that one of our AZ demonstrators on our team was in town and was able to attend the team meeting. This is the cute card that she shared using PEEK-A-BOO FARM and the PICTURE THIS Die - so cute! - I love whimsical cards 

Janell made this graduation card. She said that she made a slim line version for her grandson's graduation. She believes she cased it from MITOSU CRAFTS      

Janell also made these 2 cards with 2 versions of girls. BEAUTIFUL MOMENTS

Hey Girlfriend Part 5

I will wrap up this week of HEY GIRLFRIEND stamp set - I hope you have enjoyed them and been inspired by them.

This first card is actually the first cards that I made using this set - it was fun to choose some colors and make a variety. It was inspired by Audry Benno (no blog). It was also fun to pull out my new in color designer paper for the Polished Pink and Fresh Freesia. 

Card #2 - so sweet!! I just love it!! Of course I've been saying that about all of these, but that's exactly right! That's how I feel!! She was inspired by the stamp doc

Hey Girlfriend Part 3

 Here we are on day 3 of sharing Hey Girlfriend cards - remember this set will no longer be available after June 30 - so get it now before it is too late.

Card #1 was inspired by Stacey Marsh

We will be making this card at a future Come Stamp With Me Tuesday Class

Since I have all the little girls cut out for them, they shouldn't mind heat embossing the "happy" and cutting it out. Stamp set used for the words: Pretty Perennials - and this set is also available until June 30th as it is in the January-June Mini Catalog, but it did not carry into the new annual catalog.

The base is Coastal Cabana, but I colored her dress with the Just Jade Blends

The squiggle lines are hand drawn so you can go as crazy as you want.

Card #2 was inspired by ? She had no link, but I can give you a link to the photo of her card Click HERE

Once again I had no idea how she did the background so this is what I did: 

I used one of the basics masks and my White Craft Ink along with one of our new Blending Brushes to add ink to a piece of Basic White card stock, then heat embossed it with white embossing powder.  I grabbed a second Blending Brush and some Coastal Cabana Ink and brushed the color on until I achieved the color I wanted. I took a paper towel to wipe the color off the white dots. 

For the greeting I took a scrap of white cardstock and brushed on some Coastal Cabana ink and then stamped the greeting in Memento Black. All the balloons are fussy cut and glued down. I just love these sweet girls.

Card #3 is the card that I wanted to make most of all (inspired by Patty Bennett)

I had one sheet of this Designer Paper left over from the SNAIL MAIL 12x12 pack, and wanted to recreate this card. I will tell you that fussy cutting the dresses out was a royal pain because it was really hard to see the black ink lines, but...as you can see - I got it done!! What I really need to do is make a card with 4 of the girls to honor my 3 sisters and I who have the best relationship ever!

Hey, Girlfriend!!

 Girlfriends are the BEST and if you are blessed like me, your sisters are your best friends.

The HEY GIRLFRIEND stamp set is in the January - June Mini Catalog so it is still available through June 30th. This first card (inspired by: Cathy Harker - no blog)

I had to guess what products she used just by looking at the photo, but I used a stitched rectangle die, Colors: Calypso Coral and Just Jade

I used the Foam Adhesive Sheets to pop up the "happy". "birthday" came from A WISH FOR EVERYTHING

I love the new Textured Paint Embossing Folder which is what I used for the top layer.

This second card will be featured at the Come Stamp With Me Tuesday Class tomorrow

I own a Scan 'n Cut machine so I stamped and pre-cut all of the cute girls out for them. 

(Inspired by: Stefanie Droop)

I used a retired embossing folder with the butterflies, but Stefanie used die cut butterflies and scattered them across the front of the front.

Colors: Night of Navy, Soft Seafoam, Petal Pink. 

Stamp sets: Floating & Fluttering, Hey Girlfriend

The third card for today - (inspired by Pia Gerhardt) - when I saw her colors I knew I had to make it a graduation card by adding a tiny little grad hat to this sweet girl.

The lines are just squiggled on using a Stampin' Write Marker. After everything was stamped and colored, I ran it through the Embossing machine with the Tasteful Textile embossing folder.  Super, super simple.
