Christi's Creative Crew: Stylish Sketches

I think that I have used the RINGS OF LOVE Designer Paper the most from the FREE items from the July to August Sale a bration. It has a little bit of something for every season.

This card also features another FREE stamp set from sale a bration. STYLISH SKETCHES

This card was inspired by Tina Rappe

What I changed up: I added another square of Very Vanilla and Soft Suede to the inside - I felt that it gave it a more finished look and it also gives an extra piece to add your greeting or a scripture verse.

I send a ton of fall/autumn/thanksgiving cards to the widows and shut-ins so this card will be perfect.

The Crushed Curry Base is cut at 5-1/2" x 6-3/8" scored at 2-1/8"

Tina used a Stylish Shapes Square for her Very Vanilla piece, I just guessed at the size so it would fit the larger sentiment and the leaves.

I stamped the left image and the sentiment with Soft Suede ink and colored in my leaves and pods with Pumpkin Pie light, Mango Melody dark, and Poppy Parade dark (I believe Tina watercolored hers)

Today I will feature the rest of the watercolor cards that were shared at our team meeting last week.

The first two cards were shared by Vicki. She used Watercolor paper and watercolor pencils on both of her cards

Janell used the clear block technique for the square, the hippo's tub and the sentiment strip. I guess we can say she used watercolor to add splatters to the Basic White card base too.

I used the Stylish Sketches free SAB stamp set for my two watercolor cards. I also used the Oceanfront stamp set. Colors: Pacific Point, Crumb Cake, Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight.

I also used the watercolor pencils to color in my ducks.

Card #2 using the fox from Stylish Sketches, I used a sketch challenge to come up with this layout. I used Shimmery White paper to stamp my fox and color it in (and then fussy cut it out).

I liked how much this turned out that the stampers will be making this card at a Tuesday class.

This was super simple using my Cajun Craze Watercolor Pencil and my Watercolor Painters
