Weekly Challenge

This weeks weekly challenge was to make a matching envelope for their card
I shared this card with them that I made for our daughter in law when we found out that she was expecting

I sent my team the instruction video that I found from Connie Stewart

The first one to send in her challenge card was Karen with this cool masculine using SAILING HOME Stamp Set.

The second card to be shared is from Vicki -

Vicki exclaimed HOW VERY EASY this was to make

Here is her darling child's card using ANIMAL OUTING products, but I think she cut the alligator out from the designer paper

Bonnie joined in the fun with this awesome tropical card, and used the Share Sunshine Download for her sentiment.

Lynda shared 2 cards because she really found that making the envelopes were so easy and making your card sending so pretty

Marlane was sneaky and she combined 2 weekly challenges into one!! such a fun, bright & cheery card!

Linda K brought her weekly challenge card to our team meeting on Thursday night

What a fabulous & fun easel card that looks like a book. She used my very favorite set, FOREVER BLOSSOMS

Anna also brought her weekly challenge card to the team meeting, and she used the BROADWAY BOUND products (which are now retired)

Inez is hoping to bring some brightness to her mailbox with the bold colors in this designer paper (from the Clubhouse suite now retired).

Rachel was also tricky and she combined last weeks challenge with this weeks challenge.

Carla made this cute bee-themed card for her "make an envelope" challenge. I see she added some red-lined tape for sealing the envelope.

I shared a 2nd card with them to encourage them to give it a try

Weekly Challenge part 2

Yesterday I shared with you the weekly challenge cards that my team made using a sketch challenge that I gave to them from Dawn Griffith.
I challenged myself to make a new card every day to show how versatile this sketch challenge is.

A friend from church asked for some cards for little kids because she sends a card to them each week.

I pulled out my A LITTLE WILD Stamp Set for this cute little lion.

I used the same stamp set for these next ones. When the lion turned out so cute I decided to make more and this first one will go to a neighbor boy who turns 2 years old later this year.

And this cute little elephant will go to his twin sister.

I guess I wanted to show that this sketch challenge is not limited to strips of paper

This card I cased from one I saw on Facebook but cannot remember who. I realized later that this card qualified for our weekly challenge.

I wanted to show a horizontal version of this sketch challenge, and I wanted to use some brand new products. I loved it so much that this card is featured in the June Stamp A Stack Classes.

Last weeks weekly challenge for my team was to make a Floating Card.

I sent them a short how-to video based on a card that I CASED from Amanda Bates

Then I challenged them to make their own card using the fold concept and change it up

They had fun with it and seemed (for the most part) to like this type of fold.

Karen made another get well card for hers - and knowing Karen, she sends out a ton of cards to the people at church and I am sure that they are completely encouraged by it. She used the Perennial Essence Designer Paper which is on SALE on the Retiring List for only $8.05 (#149100)

The second card came in from Linda B and this is Linda's first time to join in on our challenge which makes me super happy. Linda actually made 2 cards using this fold and I see she added Designer paper to the inside of her cards which is very pretty

Next we have a card from Vicki - I'm not sure on this DSP, but what friend wouldn't appreciate getting a card like this.

Anna used Painted Poppies stamp Set and the coordinating Designer paper

This next card is from Shirley

Shirley used the Clubhouse stamp set and the coordinating Designer Paper

This next card is from Inez. She did a flip on the orientation of her card and look how cute it turned out! She used BACK ON YOUR FEET stamp set and some retired Designer Paper. She even used 2 of our new In-Colors - Just Jade and Bumblebee
