Disco Bear
SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER ANYONE?!
I have been dying to make this card ever since I saw it at Regionals. Another very unique card that took a bit of time, but was well worth it because it is so cute! Don't you just love that sparkly disco ball? I'm thinking this one will be hard to give away, so if you happen to find it in your mailbox you will know you are extra special because I am only making ONE! The finished size of this card is
5 1/2" square.

Princess Tea Party
We had a house full of Princesses: Princess Gracie, Princess Vivi and Princess Sylvia.
A feast fit for a Princess: Peanut Butter and Jelly triangle sandwiches, cucumber sandwiches, deviled Princess eggs, fruit, tea sized tarts, cupcakes, of course, and two cakes:
This is the cake that Julie knew I was making, but when I saw the Cinderella coach cake idea I just HAD to make that one too. Just say it is good practice.
How sad when it gets all cut up.
Presents for the Princess.
Gracie and Gramma (who is just a grown up Princess)
Grandpa Great was the only Prince allowed at the tea party.
Glass slipper party favors for the three Princesses. Gracie thought she had to try hers on just like Cinderella in the movie.

With Sympathy
It is so sad when someone passes away, but what a great hope we can have of seeing our loved ones and friends again someday in the presence of the Lord. Recently an older gentlemen from our church passed away. He and his wife were very special in our lives growing up. His wife (who passed away many years ago) was my Sunday School Teacher, and one of their daughters was our classmate in High School. They had seven children so I decided to send a sympathy card to each of them, and this is the one I chose. I thought it had a masculine feel. Hard to see, but I used Crystal Effects on the tree branches with micro beads to give it more of a 3 dimensional look.

Okay here we go again and it is another little jar. I tell you, it was hard coming up with ideas for all these jars. I kept thinking in ‘threes’ – like the three bears or the three little Princesses that will be at my grand daughters birthday party, but I really wanted to do them separately because I knew that Rachel would have great ideas – she has quite an imagination. So here is my last one. It was a milk chug from a Burger King Kids Meal. With Halloween right around the corner I thought that I should recreate this into a Halloween treat using our Build A Bear Workshop Dies sold exclusively through Stampin' Up!
I just love the fun colors of the Halloween M&M’s don’t you? Thought they would look much better in this little jar than around my hips. Click http://rachelscraftroom.blogspot.com/ to see what Rachel did with her Milk Chug jar.

Pin It Now!Halloween Cards
Here are the Halloween cards that I made for my family. Thought you might like to see them. Julie and Jeremy’s card: a cute pumpkin made with our Sweet Treat Cups and Pumpkin Patch Stamp Set, and filled with Julie’s favorite orange flavored Tic Tac. The Spider card is for Jeff and I made one for Tyler too. It’s a good guy card don’t you think? Especially since Jeff is the “Bug Man” for his job. Once again I used a Sweet Treat cup to hold only the black M&M’s from the Halloween bag of M&M’s, and an embossing folder bought at a local craft store.
This pretty Purple card is for Jessica who absolutely loves the color purple and it is filled with the yummy Halloween colored M&M’s. The stamp used in Jess’ card is called Sweet Centers. I also used the Wood Grain Background stamp and Holiday Best (Hostess level 1 stamp set)
Joey’s card just had to be “Joe Cool” waiting for the Great Pumpkin. The Pumpkins are stamped using Autumn Harvest Stamp Set and the little leaves were punched from a non-SU mini punch. Gracie’s cute little Witchy Bear card is made using the Big Shot and the Build a Bear dies exclusive to SU, the Holiday Best SS, Cast a Spell DSP, and the large and small star punches. I really should have made Gracie’s little bear into a Princess because she is going to be Cinderella for her first adventure in Trick or Treating. I can’t wait to see how cute the kids will be when they come to Trick or Treat.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheese Pie
You can see that I used a boughten graham cracker crust which caused me to only be able to fit about 1/2 of the chocolate pudding so I would imagine if you made your own graham cracker crust and used a larger pie plate you would get more chocolate in your pie. Either way, it was still very good and I had some pudding left over to savor. Thanks Kelly for sharing this recipe!!
RECIPE:
1/2 C peanut butter
1/2 C powdered sugar
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
8 oz. Cool Whip/ divided
1 pkg chocolate instant pudding
1 3/4 C cold milk
Graham Cracker Crust:
2 C crushed graham cracker crumbs
1/2 C melted butter
Combine and pat into a pie plate, You can refrigerate for 30 min or bake at 350 degrees for about 8 minutes and cool completely before filling.
Peanut Butter Layer:
Mix Peanut Butter, powdered sugar, and cream cheese until smooth. Add 1/2 the cool whip. Fold gently until combined. Place in pie crust.
Chocolate Layer:
Mix chocolate pudding and milk with wire whisk for 1 min. Pour on top of peanut butter layer.
Refrigerate at least 2 hours. Top with remaining cool whip.

Trash or Treasure - The Face Off - Part 3
Rachel really challenged me with this one when she gave me an empty fabric bolt. My first thought was to make a Welcome sign with Stampin' Ups! Decor Elements, but I didn't have the Welcome words on hand. I'm not much of a painter, so I went back to the drawing board when I thought of making a photo board. Dale spray painted it black for me, then all I had to do was wrap it with gold cording add a little decorations and pictures of my favorite subjects: Tyler and Gracie!!! Pin It Now!

Grandville HS Craft Sale
Mom's post has been high-jacked by Julie - if you already read this once - scroll down to the bottom to see my additions
**ORIGINAL POST**
Yes, I am doing two posts today, so don't get confused. Make sure you scroll down to see the cake I made for a friend in the second post.
Grandville's Craft Sale went very well for me yesterday. Thank you to those who stopped in to see me and a BIG THANK YOU to those to made purchases.
As the morning began it seemed to start much slower than the previous year and as I sat there alone I was thinking whether or not it was worth the work and cost involved to participate in GVHS Craft Sale. But as the day went on it picked up, but even so when the guys came by to see if I wanted to sign up for next years sale I was still "iffy". I did a quick calculation on how much I made and still could not make a firm decision, but then I called my friend Sue and she agreed to do the sale with me next year so I went ahead and signed up.
Right after that call my booth got extremely busy and I started selling, selling, selling and even selling out of some things. I hardly had time to breathe, and within a half hour I made about half again what I made the entire morning. Yeeha!!
Another thing that helped me to decide whether to come back to next years sale was the great people who came to my booth. Everyone was so complimentary so I thought I would share some of their kind words... Pardon me while I toot my horn...
"I've been looking for you at other craft sales, I'm glad I found you here"
"I used all the cards I bought from you at last years sale so now I need to stock up again"
"Your cards are the best"
"I'm a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator too, but I'm going to buy some of your stuff" (for ideas, patterns, etc.)
"How can you sell your stuff so cheap?"
"See you next year"
"Wow! it must be fun to be you" - I think this is my favorite one!!
"Thank you for being here"
"I was here earlier, but I just had to come back"
"Your stuff is so cute"
"Are you going to be at any other craft sales this year?"
"You should have a store"
This one is from the lady in the booth next to me: "I'm surprised you have anything left - you've been so busy" -(and she bought a nice amount from me too)
Another GREAT compliment is when Glenda showed up and bought something for an idea for her BIG SHOT class next week.
Thanks everyone for the encouragement! See you all next year!!
**JULIE'S HIGH-JACK"
This is Julie - highjacking mom's post. Since I helped mom set up her blog and help her do maintenance on it - I have access to it too - he he!!! I stopped by mom's booth at Grandville yesterday and I just wanted to say how proud I am of her. Her booth was crazy busy (no one else was like that) and she barely had a chance to talk to us. I was glad to be able to help her out at least a little bit by getting her something to drink (which Gracie promptly stole from her and spilled on the floor - who was watching that kid anyway???) Okay so I was glad to help her out by getting her another drink, and I snapped a few pictures.
