Birthday Celebration

Today's cards are made using the BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION Bundle and the Wildflower Birthday Designer Paper.

I fussy cut the little three tier cakes from one of the designer paper patterns

And don't you just love that Gold Open Weave Trim?

The embossing folder is called Starburst - it was a free item during Sale a bration - did you get yours?

Card #2 is considered a floating card using some Window Sheets. - The balloon is one of the ephemera pieces that come with the designer paper pack. This is a great way to use up your 1/2" strips.

How to make a Floating Card - add strips (mine are 1/2" wide) to some Window Sheets leaving a small space between each strip, then cut out using the die of your choice. I used Stylish Shapes - the largest circle.

It was inspired by Linda Dalke - one of our Australian Demonstrators. HERE

Card #3 - the cupcake and the tassels are also a part of the ephemera sheet that comes with the Designer Paper. - I changed up the sentiment using the happy birthday from YEAR of FLOWERS, and it was also heat embossed with gold.

The embossing folder is called FOREVER PLAID

Card #4 is using the other section of tassels that I trimmed off for the previous card, and was inspired by Stamping Beauty (no blog link)

I changed up the "Happy Birthday" using Friends For Life for the "Happy" and Biggest Wish (retired) for the "birthday." These were both heat embossed with gold.

The embossing folder is called Distressed Tiles

On each of these cards I used the Party Dots embellishments.

Sentimental Sunday

This is a card that I made (inspired by Tammy Wilson) for our son Jeff and Daughter-in-law, Jessica, as an encouragement and prayer support for them as they await little Everleigh Hope to be born.

My heart just goes out to them knowing that Everleigh will not survive this world without a true miracle from our Heavenly Father.

I found a stamp that says "God can turn broken pieces into Masterpieces."  Little Everleigh Hope is a true Masterpiece created by our Heavenly Father. Even in her brokenness we know that she has a purpose.

Please continue to keep them in your prayers.

Details on Card Stock Price Increase Plus New Product Release

A fellow demonstrator, France Martin, shared this, and even though I tweaked it just a bit, she said it best and I wanted to pass it on to you...

I have some mixed news about some new products and a price increase on cardstock. 

Make sure to read all about it. You have time to stock up on cardstock before the price increases.

It’s time for new products in the OnLine Exclusives. Stampin’ Up! Releases a new product every other month. 

Yes, you heard me correctly—a new product every other month. You will find new products in January, March, May, July, September, and November. 

This month, more than 40 new products were released!

The Online Exclusive is available to ALL to purchase (you can place your order directly in my online store or call in your order). It says Online Exclusive because the products are NOT published in any Stampin’ Up! Catalogs. The only way to view the product selection is to visit the online store. You can see it HERE

Don't be afraid to shop online!! It is no different than shopping at Amazon, etc. - you look for what you want in the store that you will get the products that you want. In fact, I rarely shop at a brick & mortar store anymore. I guess it is just the way it is now, which probably started with Covid back in 2020. I really do appreciate your online business.

Availability of the Online Exclusive Products:

Many of you ask how long the Online Exclusives will be available. All Online Exclusive products are only available while supplies last. Although some of the products will sell out and more are on the way.

 How can you tell if the product is SOLD OUT or if more will be available later? 

When shopping on the Online site, if you enter a product number and get the message Currently Unavailable, more are coming, but none are at the warehouse. If you get the message SORRY, the product is SOLD OUT, and no more are coming. ***This is 99.9% correct, but note that we can have an inventory error. If you are shopping in my Online store, don’t hesitate to contact me, and I will check the availability of the product you wish to have. 

NEW Product Release SCHEDULE
Stampin’ Up! releases New Products every other month. The months listed in RED are the Online Exclusives, and the Months in GREEN are new product releases in a catalog.

Stampin’ Up! announced that ALL card stock will go up in price starting with the new catalog on May 6th. This year, there will be a significant price increase on all card stock—an average of $2.50 per pack. The regular Basic White and Very Vanilla will only be sold in 24 sheets per pack instead of 40 sheets, which is an even more significant price increase. Originally the thick white was only going to be offered in the 12 x 12, but after listening to us demonstrators they have agreed to offer it in 8-1/2" x 11" as before, but you will only find it in the online store. Item #159229.  ***Some papers can go on back order and not be orderable, so the earlier, the better to stock up.

Please know that I didn’t increase the price. I am the messenger.  Hint: Be friendly with your comments.

More Heart Shaped

More beautiful cards from HEART SHAPED

Oh, I know... Heart Shaped Bundle was a Sale A Bration free item - did you get yours?

The pretty Bloom Impressions Designer Paper was also a Sale A Bration free item - did you get yours?

The reason I share some cards using these products is because IF you were able to get your own, you now will have some ideas of what to do with these products.

My Come Stamp With Me Tuesday Stampers will enjoy making these cards in class.

This first one was inspired by Akiko

Super pretty with Shy Shamrock Card Stock, and Berry Burst Ink

I changed up the sentiment using the Spring Corners Stamp Set.

Card #2 was inspired by Elaine, and also uses the Sale a bration free item of the Starburst Embossing Folder.

I changed up the sentiment from a thank you to a thinking of you/get well.

Card #3 - oh, I think that this is my favorite using the heart die to make a butterfly. How clever is this!!

It also uses the Wildflower Birthday Designer Paper. A great way to use up your strips of DSP - it was inspired by Tammy Beard

I changed up the sentiment to be a basic birthday card.

Card #4 is perfect for wedding or anniversary 

I love an all white card because it is so elegant, The White Frayed Ribbon was cut in half so that it didn't over power the card. This ribbon is currently on the last chance list and is actually on sale for only $4.80. That's quite a bargain!

The darling circle is from SPOTLIGHT ON NATURE

One last card inspired by Sharon and uses the PERENNIAL  LAVENDER Designer Paper - this has been one of the most popular Designer paper packs. Everyone seems to love the purples!! Good news and perhaps a sneak peek into the new annual catalog (May 6, 2025), but the Perennial Lavender DSP is returning!! yeah! we will have another year to play with this beautiful paper!!
