Tic Tac Holder Pillow Gifts

This past week/weekend I was in North Carolina with 3 of the gals on my Stampin' Up! team for the OnStage Stampin' Up! event. Three of us flew out from Michigan and one flew in from Florida and met us there. What a fun time together, learning and seeing new products that are coming up (You're going to love them, BTW). We even got in some stamping!

I didn't go crazy with pillow gifts like I sometimes do, but I did make this cute TicTac holders for each of them.

I wanted the fruit flavored TicTac but I used what I had on hand.

The FRUIT SALAD 6x6 DSP was one of the free products during SAB, and so fun to work with.

I totally CASED this little treat from Julie Davison, and the great part is that there is only scoring, no cutting

Are you Irish?

I am not, but I think I have a tiny bit of several countries in me. Mom & Dad always said that we were Heinz 57! LOL!!

When I ran a day care, I did a lot of fun things for the kiddos and also for my first two grandchildren.

Now we have our two pups to have St Patty fun with

We are all wearing our green sweaters for St Patty Day!!

aren't they so cute!!

Tonight is our March Card Club and we are making three projects - 2 cards and one 3-D project, and guess what? the main color is GREEN!

Nothing to do with St Patrick's Day, but we are using the DARLING DINOS Bundle

Each project has a little spring or wobble to it... You can purchase the wobbles on Amazon.

I used them behind the card on the left and on the treat in the middle.

The card on the right we created our own "spring" so that the circle springs up.

I did make one St Patrick's Day card because I couldn't resist when I saw this idea from Whispers in Ink on FB (Jennifer Merle-Hamscher)

What a clever idea to make a clover with the hearts die from HEART SHAPED. I hope you snagged a set for yourself during Sale a bration because it was FREE with a $120 purchase - but you got the stamps & the dies!! I know that I will be using it in future Come Stamp With Me classes for sure.

Colors: Granny Apple Green & Garden Green with a flower punch using the Peach Pie Glimmer. What I changed up: I cut the stems from Painted In Lavender and I added the St Patrick's Day wish from a retired set call A Wish For All.

The Forever Plaid XL Embossing Folder & Basic Beige card stock. Thank you Jennifer for this fun idea! (this card was sent to my friend who winters in Florida. I always miss her, but was thankful to have 4 days with her at the North Carolina Stampin' Up! OnStage event this past weekend.

So "Lucky" to have a friend like you - actually "Blessed" - but you know, the whole St Patty wish of "may the luck of the Irish go with you"

Sentimental Sunday

OH MY!  What an amazing evening we had with two of my "kids"

I have mentioned many times that I ran an in-home day care for 15 years, starting in 1996 with a super darling boy, Kyle, then Kelly was my first little girl starting in March of 1997 (at 3 months old). Kyra came in May of 1997 (at nearly a year old), and it just sky rocketed from there.

The exciting part (for me) is that not only did they play together in day care, they ended up dating friends and now they hang out together regularly.  My heart is full.

                                      Beau is Kelly's 18th mo old (with a baby girl due in July)

I wanted to make all of their favorites that they ate when they were in my care...Pig-in-the-blankets, Mac 'n Cheese & black olives. Of course we grilled burgers too. In fact, Kelly even told her mom that she was hoping that I would make the Pin-In-A-Blankets!!

                                 We taught Beau the proper way to eat a black olive!! 

I feel so blessed to have had all those years with these kids - It really was the BEST JOB EVER!!

God knew that I needed them and I love that I can still have a relationship with them.

Darling Dinos

DARLING DINOS! What an adorable stamp set especially for the kids or the young-at-heart!!

This is basically a Cut & Shuffle technique using 3 different Designer Paper Patterns. Cut your  DSP 3" wide, stack them up and then cut them 3/4", 1" and 1-1/4" wide. shuffle them up to get three cards.

The Designer Paper used is the TIMELESS PLAID 6x6 pack 

This paper is great for masculine cards and yet I have been seeing new moms dress their babies in these neutral colors as well. I guess that is why this Darling Dinos card is so dang cute!

I CASED these from Lynn Dunn, and I do know that Diana Gibbs is the demonstrator that designed this cute set. This was her million dollar set. Once a demonstrator reaches $1,000,000 in sales, they get to go to the home offices and are treated like royalty. One of the big perks is that they get to design a brand new stamp set. 

How am I doing? With my sales, that is... I have reached $282,000 in sales. This is really good for me because I am not an online presence with tons of sales so reaching this number after being a demonstrator for 17 years is pretty good. I thank everyone who has been my faithful customers and team members.

Heart Shaped

Then HEART SHAPED Bundle that we were able to get during SAB does not only need to be used for Valentine's Day. Thank goodness because I have been getting a LOT of use out of this bundle.

I love this first card because it is not your standard fold

A fold was made using the EVERYDAY ARCHES dies

I wasn't thrilled with the ribbon choice but I didn't have any pool party ribbon on hand.

The happy birthday sentiment comes from KEEPING TABS stamp set. The delicate heart die was cut from some FLORAL DELIGHT DSP.

This card was inspired by Shauna on FB

Card #2 is another non-traditional shape, but still fits in the standard A2 envelope

Again the Heart Shaped Bundle was teamed up with some FLORAL DELIGHT DSP.

Inspired by Diane on Splitcoast Stampers, and it uses one of my favorite die sets: SPOTLIGHT ON NATURE.

I love this layout because it shows both sides of the beautiful Floral Delight DSP. I can't wait to see what new DSP will be available in the new Annual Catalog so that I can use this layout again.

This card was inspired by Susie and it is called a Cris Cross Card, however I kept mine simple and didn't make the extra cuts.
