FEATHERED FUN was one of those stamp sets that I for sure wanted to get right away when the annual catalog came out last May, and it has sat on my shelf and not gotten much use. How sad.  

But when I saw this slim line card by Stacey Marsh (who is/was on the 2025 Artisan Design Team) I knew that I wanted to make this card up for my friend, Jackie, who has a cockatoo named Squiggy. She will love all these cute little birdies on her birthday card this year.

A slim line card generally measures 8-1/2" x 7" scored at 3-1/2"

Stacey doesn't give any instructions so I used the little branches from LIFETIME OF LOVE (in Pecan Pie) and the leaves from LAYERS OF BEAUTY in Old Olive and Mossy Meadow.

The colors of Stampin' Blends that I used are: Tahitian Tide, Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, Poppy Parade, Timid Tiger & Highland Heather.

For the sentiment I pulled out the HANDMADE & HEARTFELT stamp set that came with a kit. (and is still available)

   My second card using FEATHERED FUN stamp set is also inspired by Su Mohr

Not sure what bird this is when colored like this, but I keep thinking it might be a chickadee.

Colors are Crumb Cake, Pecan Pie and some Lemon Lolly 

What I changed up is the sentiment. I used a happy birthday from UNBOUNDED LOVE instead of the "friends" stamp from FEATHERED FUN. This could be good also for an anniversary card.

I followed Su's lead and cute the leaves from SPLENDID AUTUMN DSP using the THANKFUL GARDEN dies.

I diverted though with the background piece and just used Mossy Meadow card stock instead of a sheet of the SPLENDID AUTUMN DSP.

  When I went to North Carolina in March, where I (plus 3 of my team members) attended the OnStage yearly Stampin' Up! event, I was encouraged and challenged all at the same time because we learned about some changes that Stampin' Up! is making. 

  
  

  The challenge that I came away with for myself is to reach my $300,000 in sales by the end of September. 

  If I do I will get to walk the stage and be recognized for this accomplishment at the 2026 OnStage event in Long Beach, CA (not that I really like walking the stage, but it really is an accomplishment)

  
  

  What does this mean for you, and why am I telling you this?

  I will need to increase my sales each month and that is where you come in

  I am asking you to place your orders with me, and in return I will offer you the listed price of all products. 

  
  

  If you place your order (after April 15th) online you will start receiving a 10% reward on all orders $20 or more, that you can claim on your next order (this all starts April 15th) - therefore, I cannot offer the catalog price. Feathered Fun

FEATHERED FUN!

Not sure if you are a bird lover or not, you have to admit that these birds are gorgeous!

I love to see them in the wild (Hawaii vacation) or at the zoo, but I also have two friends who have pet birds and our granddaughter has a small cockatiel named Cheeky so I knew that I was going to have to add this set to my stash

The cool thing about this set is that you can flip the stamp over (because it is a photopolymer set) to add color or shading, AND there are two birds for each so that you can face them which ever direction you want! I love it!!!

This first card I made using FEATHERED FUN was inspired by Su Mohr

The colors on the birds are: Granny Apple Green, Old Olive, Mossy Meadow & Real Red, and the branch from BEAUTIFUL MOTIFS is cut from Lemon Lime Twist. The embossing folder is PRESSED FLOWERS and the sentiment comes from UNBOUNDED LOVE.
