Such a fun pun on words

Great for a new baby, birthday or even an anniversary 

I loved this first card that was inspired by Christy

And this second card inspired by one I saw on Etsy. The greenery die is from TEXTURED FLORALS DIE set, and some "bling" from the TRANSPARENT Adhesive Backed Dots

I used some retired Designer Paper and then I had some left over so I decided to play along with a sketch challenge (#356) by Dawn Griffiths and I thought that the cute little peas would be perfect for this sketch.

In fact, I issued a challenge to my team to create a card with this layout. Let's see who will participate.

I also created a scrapbook page for our newest grand baby due in June. this will make #8 for us.

Pet Sympathy

We have been going through a season of grief, and joy.

Our sweet Katy Pup was diagnosed with kidney disease the beginning of this month. Thankfully. with the amazing care of her new vet doctor she has bounced back - for how long, we don't know, but we are cherishing every little moment that we have with her. (EDIT* Katy passed away Tuesday, January 28th as I held her in my arms - we miss her terribly) 

Our 4 year old grandson, Liam, comes on Sundays so Katy gets a lot of loving when he is here.

And our neighbor kids came over to see her too. They are so sweet and love on our pups all the time.

Another wonderful neighbor who owns one of Lucy's puppies came to give Katy some loving, but all of our dogs love her so much that they wanted to get into the picture too

Our daughter, Julie & Josh, came for some final good-bye's as well.

We are so thankful for all the love and concern that we have been getting for Katy in the time we have left with her

In the meantime I had two different friends that lost their fur friends. One to cancer and one to kidney disease (which totally scares me).

I decided to make each of them a pet sympathy card - which I know will help them while they grieve.

This first card is for little Piper's mommy

Such a sweet little pup -14 years old. Our Katy stayed with Piper once while we went out of town when Katy was just a tiny puppy.

and then this second card is for Jesse's mommy

Jesse is a Vizsla and super well loved by her mommy Jen, one of my stamping friends. such a handsome boy!

Triple Pop-Out Card

 I had so much fun making this Triple Pop-Out card that I cased fromConnie Stewart

I had just a little bit of the TO MARKET Designer Paper left and it is such a sweet pattern for the little onesie in the CUTEST ONSIES Bundle 

that I wanted to give it a try with some of our FREE 6x6 TOADSTOOL GARDENS Designer Paper.

I combined it with the BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLIES 3D Hybrid Embossing Folder, and the Beautiful Butterflies Bundle.

Cards In The Mail to Me

Today I am sharing some hand stamped cards that we received in the mail.

Card #1 is from a demonstrator friend, Donne. Donne not only is a demonstrator friend, she also is a part of our small group at church. When she first moved to our area to help care for her mom, she signed up under the same demonstrator as me so we were on the same team until our leader dropped out of Stampin' Up! (only to rejoin a couple years later with someone else)

Donne sent a thank you for the gift we gave at Christmas

Another Christmas card that arrived much later than Christmas - but who cares, right?? It's super cute and from a gal on my team, Marlane.

Getting some thank you cards for our retreat - It really was a big success and we already have ladies telling us to sign them up for next year. This makes us so very thankful!!

Such a pretty card using the Mixed Florals Bundle  -  I love her color scheme.

This next card is from Inez who was one of my partners in coordinating the Mid-Winter Retreat.

She is such a dear friend and is amazing to work with. Here she's even thanking me for a successful retreat and the time we had in planning together.

This is a very cool, fun fold card. She used the FROSTED FOREST Bundle for her card.

These two cards were made by Bonnie - she made the first one for our team challenge and the second one for her new recruit. The first one on my team to add a new team member to the Creative Crew. She is using the OCEAN FRIENDS suite 

This next card comes from my up-up line, Jill Olsen who is congratulating me on being in the top 30 sales for the month of December - who knew!! She used the Wildflower Birthday DSP

This darling calendar card comes from Susan in my downline. She was sending a thank you for the gifts I sent her for Christmas and for her birthday.

Carla made this cute thank you card for the retreat we held in January. Just love those little Bees from the BEE MY VALENTINE bundle.
