My Last Christmas Card for 2025

I can't believe that this will be my last Christmas card post for 2025

Actually I am ready to be done with Christmas cards (for 6 months)

We will begin again in July and I am sure that I will be ready to jump in again.

I have loved using the PEACEFUL GARDEN Designer Paper so much, and if they would return this DSP to the Annual Catalog I would be happy - it is a perfect match for this bundle.

This card was inspired by Lisa, but I had to figure out the measurements myself because all I had was a photo to go by

I figured this was a basic fold that I had made many times

Cloud Cover Base: 4-1/4" x 11" cut off 3" and scored at 5-1/2"

the 3" piece that you cut off is used on the front flap

Designer Paper measures 4" x 2" and another one is 4" x 2-3/4"

I used the larger of the two dies from Peace On Earth for the sentiment that was stamped with Versa Mark and heat embossed with white.

Two beautiful doves and some rhinestones were scattered on it.

This could not have been easier!!

Heartfelt Prayers

I haven't decided if I have used the PEACE ON EARTH stamp set more for Christmas cards or for Sympathy cards.

Here is another example of a sympathy card that I received from my up-up line, Jill Olsen, congratulating me for being in the top 30 in sales for October. (quite an accomplishment because she has nearly 1,000 on her team)

I changed it up to save on designer paper. 

What Jill did was to cut a piece of designer paper 5-1/4" x 6" then fold it at 2" revealing both sides of the paper, then adhered it to a 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" Basic White. Her left DSP flapped open, and there was not "full" card 

What I did was to cut the designer paper at 5-1/4" x 3" and another piece at 2"

I was able to squeak out enough pieces for my Tuesday class and still have enough for the sentiment piece. However, I only had enough for 8 stampers and I knew that these would sell out fast.

So I made a few more using this other pattern from the same PEACEFUL GARDEN DSP.

I cut out the darkest color from the Peaceful Garden Glimmer Paper using the two dies from Peace On Earth, and the smaller of the two dies for the sentiment.

Stampin' Up! says the colors are blue, gray & green, but I think (from left to right) is more like Cloud Cover, Misty Moonlight & Night of Navy. Either way, they are all gorgeous!

The darling dove die cuts are my favorite and I added the HUES OF BLUE FLOWERS. They come in Cloud Cover, Misty Moonlight, Secret Sea & White.

Shepherd's Care

 My card for today combines the Thoughtful Journey DSP with the Shepherd's Care stamp set for Christmas

I love this look and I don't think that I could come up with this idea on my own, it was the genius of France Martin

The hardest part of this card is the fact that there is no die to cut out the shepherd, but I absolutely LOVE to fussy cut so my stampers really love the work that I do ahead of time for them.

The star is stamped with Versa Mark and heat embossed with white FIRST. Then sponged with Misty Moonlight to create the look you see.

I purchased quite a few packs of the Thoughtful Journey 6x6 DSP when I saw that Stampin' Up! rolled this paper over to the annual catalog, so I am working at making the best use of these patterns for my Tuesday classes.

Peace On Earth Sympathy

Another Peace on Earth Card, but this time it is a Sympathy card. Remember I told you that this is a perfect stamp set?!!

I embossed the front of the card base with the PEACEFUL GREENERY Embossing Folder, but because the de-bossed side showed on the inside of the card I decided to add another die cut to fit in that space

I chose to use one of my non-Stampin' Up! sympathy sentiments for the inside, but on the left side piece I used a retired stamp set called SO SINCERE

I thought that it really added to the look of the card inside.

Peace On Earth

The PEACE ON EARTH Bundle is for more than just Christmas cards. That is why it is a perfect stamp set.

This card inspired by Su Mohr is just a perfect example of that

In fact, I could easily use this card for Valentine's Day.

To save on my Designer Paper I cut the strip from the center of the front piece

Products used are: Textured Notes Dies, Perennial Postage Dies, and of course, the Peace on Earth Dies. I used the Natural Matte Dots & Secret Sea Ink. I pretty much cased this card just like Su's card. She does beautiful work.

Guest Stamper, Debbie O

We had so much fun at our November Card Club night. We started 1/2 hour early so that we could enjoy a Cookie Exchange.

Everyone submitted their recipes to me ahead of time and I made out some 4x6 recipe cards for everyone of all the cookies that they brought. Everyone brought 2 dozen cookies which means we all went home with 3 of each variety, but wowzer! look at this ginormous plate full of goodies!

They were ALL delicious! (yes, I tasted everyone of them~yikes) Back onto KETO ASAP!!

Debbie arrived early so that she could set up a cute display

Debbie made up these adorable goodie boxes using the BRANCHING OUT Dies 

and she even brought enough for everyone to make their own

Inside she had a little gingerbread man cookie cutter and some yummy Hershey Kisses candies.

She also made this adorable peek-a-boo card with the Gingerbread Man Bundle

After card club Debbie continued to make a bunch more of these cute little boxes/purses so I thought that I would share them with you as well. Which one is your favorite?

Debbie also made these adorable Gingerbread Men Candy Cane holders for everyone who came to our team Christmas party last week

The cute letters to Santa is a metal box that holds a gift card and treat.

She also made me this cute peek-a-boo card using the Special Delivery Designer Paper.
