Elegant Anniversary Card

This card looks like I made it for a special 50th Anniversary but really it could be used for a wedding as well.  I dry embossed the Whisper White Card Stock with one of our Brass Templates called “Pick A Petal”, the stylus, and a light box.  The heart is stamped with Gold Encore Ink and embossed with Gold Embossing Powder.  You can also try stamping it with the Gold Encore and embossing it with Clear Embossing Powder.

Sorry, but I cannot remember what stamp set this was and I think I sold it at our garage sale since it was retired.

The rest of the Accessories used are Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon and Gold Cording. The papers are Whisper White and Brushed Gold.

So if you have an anniversary coming up you may find this card in your mailbox.

Best Yet

I have had this card idea sitting in my pile to do for a long long time, as you can see I am using retired colors/paper on this, but I was real happy with how it turned out.

CS: Pink Pirouette (retired), Basic Black, Bella Birds DSP(retired), Certainly Celery DSP, WW. I used Pretty in Pink CS on the tag but wished I had stuck with the Pink Pirouette, but it does give it a nice contrast.

Charlie Update

Charlie turned 3 months old in January and he is such a good baby. I am so thankful to have him with me each day. He is very strong, holding his head up nice so I thought I would give the Bumbo a try. Look how cute he is sitting there.

I love finding Charlie’s ticklish spots and listening to him giggle up a storm. But the last couple days Charlie has had a cold so isn’t quite his happy self. Guess that just means more cuddle time for me.

This is a birthday card I sent to one of my customers.  I totally missed her birthday, which is very unlike me, but I guess it happens when you forget to write it on your calendar.  I remember years ago finding such a cute belated birthday card that I purposefully sent it late so I could use it.  Maybe this is just such a card.

A Happy Heart

I just love Valentine’s Day don’t you? Not just because it is my sweethearts birthday, but I just love an extra chance to tell everyone how much I love them. This card will be going to one of my day care kids. The idea came from Tonya Bell – thanks Tonya! I have a LOT more Valentines Cards and projects to share but I don’t want to spoil the surprise for the giftee so bear with me and I will show them to you later.
