Did you think I spelled that title wrong?
NO - it's just a cute phrase from the stamp set called
I DIG YOU. A perfect set for all the little (or big) boys in your life.

This was a little more detailed for a Stamp A Stack card, but I thought it was so cute and I wanted to show the ladies that you can cut out your images and add them to your card giving them a 3 dimensional look.

MENU:
SS: I Dig You
CS: Pacific Point, WW, Daffodil Delight, Peach Parfait, Brights DSP, Basic Black
INK: Soft Suede, Black Staz On
MARKERS: Daffodil Delight, Peach Parfait, Pacific Point
PUNCH: Tiny Tags
Accessories: Snips, Silver Brads (regular size and mini), Dimensionals

I went to a Coffee and a Card Class at Glenda's a couple months ago and we
made this cute Telescoping Christmas card...

It starts out like this...

and opens up to this...

As I was making it I thought it would be cute to make as a Save The Date card since our son, Joey was recently engaged at the time. So I went home and made up this next card, but didn't post it until now as they were waiting for Thanksgiving to make the official engagement announcement to Melissa's extended family.

It starts out like this...
(their colors are Turquoise and Lime Green)

and opens up to this...

This will be a fun year helping them with all their wedding plans

Thanks for stopping by!

Grrreat!

Monday, December 5, 2011
My friend Carla had a car/deer accident on her way to work last week. I had printed this idea off Lynn Pratt's blog and thought this would be a perfect time to make it up to send to Carla.

The inside said ...
"Sometimes you're the windshield and sometimes you're the bug"
I slashed out "bug" and wrote "deer".
I wanted to stamps a deer and cut it out, but just didn't have the heart.

Check out Lynn's blog for the FREE template to make this card for yourself

You can't see it on the photo but I "smooshed" Versa Mark over the stamped image and then embossed it with Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder. I love the added glitz that it gives.

Click on over to the Red Hot Stamper Blog to see what the other gals did with this Sketch Challenge

My friend, Jade, is turning 10 years old today!
She is such an amazing young lady, and she has grown so much
this past year she is nearly as tall as me.
I am looking forward to tomorrow when I get to watch
her in her Christmas Play at her church.

I remember with my kids that turning 10 was a BIG DEAL
You know, the whole double digit deal
So I wanted to make a special card for Jade
to wish her a Happy Birthday this year

Yes, I went AWOL last week and did not participate with the
Stamping Queens Sketch Challenge, but I'm BAAACCKKKK!!!

This is the sketch we had to work with...

And this is my take on it...

I had this Real Red Scallop Circle with the Basic Black and Whisper White

so I thought I would use it up when I saw this Sketch Challenge.

I needed a wedding card for a December wedding and their colors are
Red, Black and White. How perfect!!

SS: Teeny Tiny Wishes
CS: Basic Black, Real Red, Whisper White, Brights and Neutrals DSP
INK: StazOn Black
PUNCHES: Bird Builder
Accessories: Scallop Circle Die, Big Shot, Black Circle = 3 7/8", WW Circle = 3 3/4",
Perfect Polka Dots EF, Basic Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Real Red Satin Ribbon
