Post Surgery Up Date

I am writing this post on Friday night to let you know how surgery went on my left foot today (Friday).

I found it quite interesting that I have a totally different bandage this time around.  Last time my bandage was just up over my ankle a bit, but this one has a hard, splint (partial cast) all the way up to my knee.  Maybe just a little more protection because the right foot is still not 100% normal.
Quoting the doctor/surgeon - This foot was not a bad as the first but the ligament definitely had to come out because it was diseased.  Not exactly what that meant but I'm certainly glad it is over and I can start the healing process.
