Christi's Creative Crew: Crafting Forever

When I saw this cute idea using the CRAFTING FOREVER Stamp Set by Conni Richter, I wanted to make it, especially after a friend sent me a get well note on a note card that had her name on it. I thought it was a very special touch.

My handwriting is barely legible on any given day (I call it "artistic"), so I had to have the help of my very talented daughter in law, Jessica, who does the beautiful calligraphy work.
The edges were stamped using the TOUCHES OF TEXTURE stamp set and crumb cake ink (stamped off).
What a lot of fussy cutting! NOPE! I broke down and purchased the Brother Scan 'n Cut 350 on Cyber Monday. I was able to stamp all the images, put it in the machine which scanned my images and then cut them all out for me. I figured for the issues I am starting to have with my hands, it sure will help me out in the long run.
I still prefer Stampin' Up!'s dies because they give a nice border, but for this card it worked perfectly cutting everything nice and close, even the pens! I love the outcome!
