Christi's Creative Crew: All Because of the Cross, Two Easter Cards

Here are a couple Easter cards to share with you. We made each of these at one of my COME STAMP WITH ME TUESDAY CLASSES.
This first one is made with a non-Stampin' Up! die, but was a gift from a friend. Since Easter is all about the cross and the salvation we have through Jesus sacrifice on our behalf, I like to focus my Easter cards to reflect it.
I did a lot of sponging. Here are the colors I used:
Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie for the sun
Soft Sky, Marina Mist and Dapper Denim for the sky.
The hill was cut out of Crumb Cale and sponged with Always Artichoke

This second card was inspired by Su Mohr on the Demonstrator Planning Place Facebook Group

I love how she unraveled the Copper Ribbon
What I changed up: I used a different sentiment. (retired)
The Cross was cut from the CROSS OF HOPE Framelits Dies, and the sunburst from AMAZING YOU. all embossed with Gold Embossing Powder.
