We made this card at CARD CLUB last night and it not only features the ABSTRACT IMPRESSIONS and SPRINGTIME IMPRESSIONS THINLITS DIES, but we also used the STAMPARATUS!! So super excited that this fabulous tool is now available for all of you to purchase. You are going to LOVE IT!!
Can you see the little marks that Stampin' Up! added to the window sheet that the Photopolymer stamps come on? I added a dash of Sharpie Marker in that area on the stamp itself so it would help me to line things up when stamping.
Although the stamp set gives you the ability to make a 3 step flower, on this card I chose to only use 2 steps. They are not numbered on the window sheet, I will call them stamp 1 and stamp 3. These are the two I used. (photo above)
This first card was inspired by Melissa DaviesIt also includes the label from the STITCHED LABELS FRAMELITS DIES, Shimmery PEAR PIZZAZZ RIBBON, and Whisper White BAKERS TWINE
Do you love the color scheme? Inks used: Grapefruit Grove, and Old Olive
Card #2
The beautiful butterfly and 1" banner is from the new, fresh PINEAPPLE PUNCH Card Stock, all teamed up with some COPPER TRIM and Rhinestones
This second card was inspired by Mary Brown. What I changed up: I chose to make the card base cut from the SOFT SEA FOAM Card Stock. This is such a soft gorgeous green color. I cut a 4-1/4 x
5-1/2" piece of THICK WHISPER WHITE Card Stock and added MULTIPURPOSE ADHESIVE SHEETS to the back and then cut out the corner die from that. This made it easy to adhere the entire front to my base. HOWEVER, I would have loved to pop this up on Dimensionals, but I think it looks really pretty just as it is. I also added a smaller sentiment and this one is perfect for a variety of occasions. Right off the top of my head I'm thinking engagement, but it could be for so much more!!
Don't you just love the new butterfly die? Why did Stampin' Up! retire our old butterfly die and then bring in a new one?? Well, I LOVE the change! It's no different than buying a new dress that might be similar to an older one you always loved. Sometimes you just need a fresh new look!
