When I created a new HOSTESS CODE for the month of May it came up like this
I used the largest and the second largest STITCHED RECTANGLE DIES
I cut them from Crumb Cake Card Stock then using the SPONGE BRAYERS I sponged Crumb Cake ink all over both of them.
My red banner (although it looks pink in this photo) is Whisper White Card Stock sponged with the SPONGE BRAYERS and Real Red Ink.
The Crushed Curry is 3 3/4" long and they both measure 1" wide. I ran it through one of my favorite retired embossing folders.
Now for the DQ cup. I used the SPONGE BRAYERS again with Pacific Point Ink on Whisper White card stock and cut out with the COFFEE CUPS FRAMELITS
The Whipped Cream was stamped with Smoky Slate ink onto Whisper White Card Stock and cut out, and the plastic cover was cut from VELLUM Card Stock, all using the COFFEE CUPS FRAMELITS.
I went onto Google to get the Dairy Queen icon, printed it, cut it out and attached it to the front of the cup and adhered the cup with Dimensionals.https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/search/dimensionals
The top layer of crumb cake is also adhered with Dimensionals - I think I go through those things like water because I like my cards to have dimension to them
I imagine I will use this card as a gift card holder at some point to give a DQ gift card as a gift.
How Fun!! Time to think our side the box and create something unexpected!!
BTW - the COFFEE CAFE` Stamp set and COFFEE CUPS FRAMELITS DIES are all retiring. Get yours NOW before it is too late!!

Now I don't know about you, but I am an extreme ice cream fan, so when it started with DQ all I could think about was my favorite Dairy Queen Blizzard! I always get the Banana Split Blizzard - which one to you choose?
Of course my thoughts went right to making a card
Here's want I did (the sketch is loosely based on Dawn Griffith's Sketch #78I used the largest and the second largest STITCHED RECTANGLE DIES
