Inez, one of the gals on my team sent me this gorgeous card
So Inez inspired our challenge last week
I sent them this one that I made
These are so super simple that I had 2 gals make up their cards the first day
Brenda said she dug out the old stuff - I encouraged them to use up some of their retired Designer Paper
Vicki was next with this card - or should I say "cards" - I told you these were easy!!
Next to come is from Lynda - Lynda got sneaky creative and made a corner bookmark and added it to one of the cards that we made at the Stampin' Up! OnStage Event last November.
Stamp Set is TIMELESS TULIPS
Carla made this next one with the NEW WONDERS Stamp Set. Wouldn't this be great for a little girl?
Amazing, right??!!
Christi
Anna made this card with a corner bookmark stating that she loves the Poppy Designer Paper
I do too, and I think I will miss it, but we always get new papers so that will be fun too
This next one was made by Shirley
I'm guessing the daisies are from Daisy Lane using the Medium Daisy Punch - so pretty!
Our next pretty card was made by Pam. Looks like she used her card for Mother's Day
Who wouldn't love getting a card with a pretty bookmark attached
This seascape card was made by Rachel - I love the little pearls on the sea floor,
like the clams spit them out for us to find!
This elegant card was made by Chris
She said she was using it for Mother's Day
Karen used her Paper Pumpkin kit to make her weekly challenge card, plus the words are from the Share Sunshine Download - it's full of fun phrases for going through this crazy Covid time. If you follow my blog post you will have seen some fun Covid-19 cards. If you missed it you can check it out HERE.
Talking about Paper Pumpkin - it is so popular that they already sold out of the May Kit.
You will want to get on board ASAP so that you do not miss out.
You can see some of the alternative cards thatI made with the April kit HERE
Inez made this next card - she is the one who inspired all of us to make this corner bookmark card
And then this next one is from Peggy
Peggy used the BEST CATCH stamp set.
She also sent in a catch-up card and shared this one from last weeks challenge to use a stamp set that is retiring. She chose to use ANIMAL OUTING
Susan sent in this card using the Stamp Set BLOOM & GROW - so very pretty
The last card to come in is from Barb and Barb changed up the fold on her bookmark
What book am I reading to use the bookmark that Inez sent me?
This book is super special to me
It is written by my name-sake about her Father and his escape from Czechoslovakia during the awful time of WWll, how he met his wife in Germany and how they immigrated to the USA. They are friends of our family ever since I was born. They actually arrived in MI the year before I was born.
Sadly, Lucy got a hold of my beautiful bookmark. Good thing that they are so easy to make.
Just use a 4" square of Designer Paper, fold one side to a point, then on the other side you have the option to make a decorative edge. On the front you will "seal" the triangle with whatever you use as a decoration.
Remember I told you this book was special to me?
Check out these highlighted areas - it is where my precious mama was mentioned and how they named their baby girl after me
The sentence that says "she dropped everything" to help her out. That was my mom FOR SURE - she ALWAYS put the other person first.
Amazing, right??!!
