One of the designer paper offerings in the new annual catalog is Calle Frames & Flowers

This is what Stampin' says about Frames & Flowers 

The Frames & Flowers Specialty 12" x 12" (30.5 x 30.5 cm) Paper is unlike other patterned paper packs. It has three sheets of double-sided designs with floral and greenery designs on one side and all-purpose patterns on the other. And it also has three sheets of die-cut greenery elements that you can use on card fronts or to frame photos on scrapbook pages. As a fun plus, some of the die-cuts are sized to fit card fronts, making it easy to create quick, beautiful cards. This paper is a must for card makers and scrapbookers!

* 6 sheets of patterned paper: 1 each of 3 double-sided designs and 1 each of 3 single-sided die-cut designs

I decided to see how many cards I could make out of this paper pack

The first card I made was a sympathy card because I needed to get one sent out ASAP

The rest are a blend of sympathy and care along with some birthday cards.

Some cards I cased exactly, some I changed things up and some I created my own

After all was said and done I think I made 35 cards with this $10.00 pack - of course I added extra card stock for bases and layers, and some bling - of course!

When I ran out of the little calypso coral flowers, I decided to make my own twist by sponging Calypso Coral ink onto Basic White card stock and then cut them out with the little flower dies from HEARTS & HUGS and I also used the PETAL PARK Builder Punch

The POISED PEONY Stamp Set is a great addition for these cards.

I used a variety of sentiment stamps:

I also have some elements saved aside to create a beautiful scrapbook page. Can't wait for the perfect pictures so that I can put that together.

I love the color scheme - I used Petal Pink and Lost Lagoon for the most part, but I also used some Pretty Peacock and Soft Seafoam.

Guest Stampers Pam and Janell

Our guest stampers today are Pam and Janell

Pam used a retired 6x6 designer paper pack for this card - she said that it was her trial card for the card she made for our swap - you saw that post on Monday's blog post.

Janell shared this darling card using the RACING BY stamp set. I'm so jealous - I bought this set but I haven't been able to play with it yet.

Love the Ice Cream Parlor card using the SHARE A MILKSHAKE stamp set

But this is no regular card it has layers!!

Our guest stampers for today are Carla and Debbie 

Debbie has a signature to her cards - she loves to add fancy little buttons. She made me this cute thank you card and added the basket of tulips button in the cart. Her card also uses the Thoughtful Journey Designer Paper.
