Praying extra hard for our nation today, on this Election Day!

Of course we know that God is in control so we rest in Him

Thought it would be good to share a patriotic card today

I pulled out some retired product (and some non- Stampin' Up! stamps) to create this card

The embossing folder is called SO SWIRLY and is one of Stampin' Up!'s new larger size embossing folders

The stars are from the retired Stars Collection Dies

The stamp set is called "Of Thee I Sing" - it is my go-to for my patriotic cards - I found it at a little hardware store. The Star DSP was from Star Gazing - a retired SU designer paper and the stripes were from a piece of patriotic print paper that I had in my scrapbooking bin (by Creative Memories).

I stamped the greeting on Basic White with Night of Navy and cut it out with the NESTED ESSENTIALS die. I added three little gold pearls. All of the edges are slightly sponged with Real Red Ink.

Last weekend I held a Christmas Card Class

What I love about these first two cards is that they are a two-fer

What I mean is that when they make this first card and cut out the circle from the strips of designer paper, you get what you need for card #2

And I love the color scheme of Pretty Peacock and Lost Lagoon

Yes, I pulled out some retired sets for these cards, but I keep what I love. I used JOY OF NOEL and BRIGHTEST GLOW stamp sets.
