This single stamp is only $7.95 and comes in wood mount only. What I did before I mounted the stamp on the wood block was to cut away the words and mount them on the side of the block. That way I am not obligated to use those words every time I use the stamp. If you hesitate to cut your stamp apart you can always use the masking technique.
The 2 cards I am sharing today are cards using the HONEYCOMB Embossing Folder which is on sale right now with today being the LAST DAY to get in on these weekly deals.
This first one was inspired by Melissa Davies and instead of a baby card it is a "mom-to-be" card. Perfect for a baby shower. The finished card measures 3 3/4" x 5 1/2" so that the embellishments could hang off the edge yet still fit in the envelope.
For this one I inked up the HONEYCOMB Embossing Folder with Soft Suede ink and instead of running it through the Big Shot, I just lightly rubbed it with my hand.

This second card is also using the HONEYCOMB embossing folder and was inspired by Eimear Carvill. This time I embossed the HONEYCOMB using the Big Shot for a raised embossed effect.
Supplies you will need to duplicate this card (BTW this card is one that we will be making at the April Stamp a Stack classes)

If you stayed with me looking at my entire blog post you can now see an up date on my cabinet that Dale is building for me in the craft room under our stairway. I can hardly wait until it is complete! I want to fill up all those drawers!! Actually I already have put some of my class supplies in a drawer - just to see how it will fit!! LOL!! The top piece goes (today) to the guy who will put the formica on it. So thankful for friends who have all the equipment and talent!! I think Dale is tired of me asking "what's the next step?"
Thanks for stopping by!
Christi
