Christi's Creative Crew: Picture Perfect Party Suite Day 3

You've seen my announcement that the Paper Ribbon has been pulled from the Stampin' Up! product line due to production issues, but I thought I would case this card from the Occasions Catalog anyway. What I did to replicate the Paper Ribbon was to cut a piece of Bermuda Bay card stock 3/4" wide x approximately 3 3/4" and snip up on each side. Then I added some of the SILVER BAKERS TWINE (new in the Occasions Catalog) down the center. It certainly isn't the same, but I think it works perfectly well to achieve the dimension on the card.

I didn't have quite as much of the Designer Paper left from this 6x6 sheet because I wanted to trim down the candle piece to look a certain way so I added the leftover strip to some Bermuda Bay Card Stock and added it to the flap of my envelope.

You can also make a horizontal card using the same Candle Print from the PICTURE PERFECT BIRTHDAY Designer Paper
