This stamp set, DANDELION WISHES, is super cute and a huge seller.
We made this card at our Team Meeting (inspired by Sandi MacIver) for our Make & Take project
I decided it was time to go back to some of the basic techniques that still hold a WOW factor and heat embossing is one of those WOW techniques you can do on your cards. By adding some ink with a sponge or dauber you can highlight where you embossed with White Embossing Powder. Be sure to rub gently with a soft cloth or paper towel to remove the ink that rests on top of the embossing for it to really pop.
Stampin' Up! used to sell a crimper which made fabulous corrugated paper, adding dimension to your cards. The problem was that I very often would not get it straight leaving my lines a little "wanky", but now Stampin' Up! has this fabulous new CORRUGATED EMBOSSING FOLDER to make your lines perfect every time!!
I love the saying "I made a wish & you came true" - I remember using this phrase on a card 4 years ago when our grandson, Sawyer, was born.
Here is a picture of Sawyer at 2 years old with a bouquet of dandi's for Yaya before they became wishing flowers.
Sawyer is 4 years old now and is going to 4-school and this year he gets to ride the bus! He is so excited
Lily was patiently waiting for big brother to get off the bus. She's our little climber.
Miss Mercy was still sleeping when big brother came home, but when she gets up she is ALL SMILES
Each week I get to watch these little kiddos when mommy has violin lessons. I loved being able to see Sawyer get off the bus - brought back so many memories of our kids going to school (even though they never rode a bus until middle/high school.
