Today I have some more masculine Sympathy cards

Let's start with another woodsy themed card

I used up some scraps from my Wood Grain Designer Paper. Sorry to have seen this paper leave us but we had a good 2 year run with it which is very unusual.

Stamp Set: Colorful Seasons (& coordinating dies), Flourishing Phrases

Card Stock: Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla

Ink: Early Espresso, Sahara Sand

Fun Stuff: Corrugated Elements, Linen Thread, Banner Triple Punch, wood button (retired)

On to some nautical Themed cards
This one doesn't say sympathy but I was making it at the time and left it blank so buyers could use it for anything they needed. This card was inspired by Hansi Brittain (no blog link)

One of my favorite tools to use is my Sponge Brayer. It comes with 2 handles and 4 sponges and I just rinse them under water to clean them, so no need to buy in quantity. I wanted to use a Crumb Cake Card Stock for layering but it just seemed so harsh. I wanted something softer so I pulled out some Very Vanilla Card Stock and used my Sponge Brayer to add color. Don't you just love the soft tone it gives?
I used a VERY OLD Stampin' Up! stamp set called COAST TO COAST. Stampin' Up! has had several lighthouse stamps over the years and I probably have owned them all but I have a hard time getting rid of this set that came with 4 lighthouse scenes.
But I combined the old with the new - using the Come Sail Away Designer Paper, Some Linen Thread and an old Vintage brad
