Christi's Creative Crew: May All Your Dreams Come True

So this is what happened yesterday - Fusion of the big toe, left foot. this is the 4th surgery on this area which all started with a bunion problem. Let's all hope and pray that it is the LAST!!

Thought I would go home with a "boot" or a "shoe" but ended up with a huge cast

It goes all the way up to my knee

And this is my view for 17 - yes, SEVENTEEN days!! I can only let it dangle for 10 minutes or less so basically I can get up to go to the bathroom. When I get sick of my bed I might sit in the living room for short spells
After 17 days I can get around more but total no weight bearing is 8 weeks!
I was SOOOOO blessed that not one, but two of our pastors showed up in the morning before we left for the surgery center to read scripture and pray over me.

The dogs thought that they were here to visit them.
Didn't get a picture of our lead teaching Pastor because he was behind me - laying his hands on me and praying, and Dale didn't think to snap a photo, but this is Keoni, our lead teaching pastor

The great thing was that last Sunday he spoke about Jesus - Mighty God - Isaiah 9:6
He is the MIGHTY CALMER, the MIGHTY HEALER, our MIGHT DEFENDER, and our MIGHTY CONQUEROR.
At one point in the sermon he said "why aren't we lining up come to an elder meeting to have them pray over us?" You can view this sermons HERE
Funny (but not so funny) story is that my hubby had a dream prior to the surgery date where the doctor came out after the surgery and said "I'm sorry, we weren't able to save her toe - we had to cut it off" - we had a good laugh about that one! Good thing not all our dreams come true! When he texted them after surgery he told them "good news - she still have 5 toes!)
So I just had to make up this card using the LEAVE A LITTLE SPARKLE Stamp Set combined with the STILL SCENES Bundle.
I thought the sentiment: "Make Your Dreams Come True" was so funny in regards to Dale's dream, and this shaker card is truly a step above card.

This card was inspired by Mikaela who is one the the ARTISAN designers with Stampin' Up! This group of stampers are what I consider to be "a cut above". It was fun to recreate this card.
What I changed up was to add the SUBTLE Embossing Folder to the front piece of Whisper White (4 x 5-1/4)
